Hm, not sure what's that bad in hating the series that includes such an assload of ass as Legacy Of War and Contra Adventure... and everything else that came after Hard Corps. Despite the nostalgic value, currently Contra is dead and grayscale for me

- SOLDIER BLADE 2
In an alternate universal, Soldier Blade II has already been crafted by Hudson Soft and Compile with proper tate this time around -- released in Japanese game centers. A new gameplay mechanic of combining the main fightercraft (that can transform into a bad-ass mecha suit) with Gunbody sidekick results in a new mecha suit bristling with even more insane fire power.

There are more cool SB-2 anime cutscenes to watch with the opening attract screen & between stages...

What about In The Hunt? Though it's more like 'spiritual' sequel

Almost any Konami or Irem sequel would make me jump for joy. News of a new Gradius or R-Type title (or in a less-realistic-but-superior alternate universe, news of a new X-Multiply, Axelay, or Xexex) is, for me, 100 times more exciting than hearing about some new bullet-hell title that requires me to buy a bunch of Japanese gear to actually play. I'm sure if I could afford to make that plunge, I'd be singing a different tune.

I'd love to hear about anything familiar coming to the PS3.

A true sequel or even a remake of the original SQOON would be greatly appreciated.
In The Hunt is a much different game so it in no way counts. It's a great game but not a sequel to SQOON.

Raiden DX2
A new Raizing "Battle" game (not necessarily a direct sequel to any of the Garegga/Batrider/Bakraid games, but another one in the series. To be honest I've never played Ibara so I don't know how well that fits)
Project RS-3
G-Darius 2
Border Down 2

More Toaplan Shooting Battle volumes. I'd happily buy Tatsujin, Shark and Out Zone discs individually.

Great game. Another Genesis game I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel for would be Elemental master as well.

Same here. Give me a disc with Sky Shark and Fire Shark on it and I'm satisfied. I would have no problem at all paying even $50 for that!

Something Compile would be nice. Zanac, Blazing Lazers, Space megaforce, Power Strike, TGL, etc. something like that.

Esp.Ra.De 2 (Galudas do not count...)

The concept of the original Esp.Ra.De with the graphics & stuff of DFKK. Would be awesome!!

Parodius.

In before "Otomedius is..." because Otomedius doesn't count. They have put more than a barebones story in place and have apparently decided to take it somewhat seriously (Well, as seriously as you can take school girls riding ships in skimpy outfits... Oh its 2010? This is somewhat normal now? Nevermind)

I want to see another random assortment of characters go off to fight something for some reason that should never be explained with actual words. At best, pictures like Sexy Parodius.

But thats if we're only talking 2d Shootem ups.

If not, Planet Harriers. Or just an enhanced port.

Sega, Please.
