Finally, my skills at the game 'clicked' and I'm getting good runs consistently.

Scoreboard updated because hell if I miss the opportunity to be fifth for a while.

Hey Mike, serious question - can I map left and right to two different buttons (one left, one right) on my ps2 joystick? Keyboard has a distinct advantage over joystick for this game in the sense that you can just mash wiggle.

Wiggling speed doesn't seem to improve bomb regeneration rate. I tried doing it very fast but saw no difference.

I'm pretty sure once every four frames (left on frame 1, right on frame 5, etc) was the same as doing it every frame. I can't remember from doing it last year and I haven't played the game yet this year. It definitely makes a difference though versus not wiggling. I can make a video to prove that in a little if you want. : )

I meant I saw no difference between wiggling as fast as I could and doing so at a speed I was comfortable with.

Not a very interesting game, but not utterly bad either.

There is a pretty big difference wiggling moderate and wiggly fast or as fast as you can.

Ah, alright. I misunderstood.

TodayIsForgotten: I'll make a post about how fast you have to do it until doing it any faster doesn't matter soon.

Why aren't more people using fixed? Oh right, all that 2nd loop unblockable bullshit. Fixed + usual pointblanking + helicopter boss = I get curbstomped. Guess I should have practiced him.

Tonight's best score. Only up a couple slots, but I'm getting better at surviving the early stuff, and working on some scoring tricks. I'd like to hit at least 3M eventually.
