Just switching the course from normal to EX should change the highscore list. Try going to the Scores menu after switching.

I'd say about half the EX stages are better. EX0 is not in the EX course, though.

Yeah don´t worry, I already found that out. I meant there are no scores posted in this thread for the EX main game.

I was thinking about opening a scoreboard for the EX course, but because lack of players and scores I decided against it. Post a score and I'll open a table for you! I'll try to beat your score then later on.

These stages are indeed better, but I don´t know yet if I want to torture me on Very hard.

The game is laughable easy on Normal or Hard. Very Hard is at least a bit of a challenge and since it's about individual level scores only, it's fun to try and max out the score for the levels without too much frustration. Please check it out! My replays in the first post should show you all the basic strategies for the EX stages and some decent scoring at least.

Ok I´ll ckeck these out later, but first I want to improve the normal game. Cleared it today, but lost/used all my lives and bombs. I was surprised by the TLB dying so fast. In Score Attack he has two more forms.

Nope, those are other TLBs ( normal course, EX-course, TLB-rush TLB ) . There are total four TLBs in the game ( Insane-mode TLB is not included in the TLB-rush ).

One of my first stages. Stages feel much easier ( must be because of running EX-stages before. The difficulty between insane and very hard is not that great.)
BUT. Bosses are rape-machines. As are midbosses.

Yes, older revision. In older revisions, those big enemies did not cancel bullets.

Shameful 2-miss. Luckily those two misses were on the boss.
I also bombed the speeding-up sequence, which was very costly since it dropped my DAL from 20k to 10k.

Is it just me, but does EX3 feel harder than before? I think Udderdude adjusted it because those big buildings now cancel bullets and the stage is third in the ex-course.

Just popped in one credit. Stage 3/7 really is worth a lot when played no miss no bomb. Unfortunately I bombed once in early stage 3. I could aim for 100 million, but uh... later I guess. Forgot to record the run, not that it´s so important on this difficulty anyway.

Ugh, that EX1 score took too damn long to get. So many stupid 1-miss/no-bombs, usually because of that godforsaken midboss. The EX2 run, on the other hand, came really quickly. I still don't know how to handle the boss consistently; the above perfect run was thanks to a bunch of wonky luck-dodges

Died twice. Once in stage 5 and another one in stage 8. Still somehow managed to reach my goal.
The most important stage is 3/7. If you no miss that one, you get a good boost.

New highest stage 1 score: 20mill.

I died in stage 2... but no missed and no bombed the important stages 3 and 7. Also a terrific last stage for me, first time no miss no bomb except for the boss. The warp midboss is still a bitch though, was a little lucky at that part, normally I use a bomb there.
