Holy heck.

I decided to try the Mosquito instead for once and this happened.

And I DIDNT DIE ON THE THIRD BOSS.

Instead I died once BEFORE it

Somehow I had an extend at the end of 2.


And I hadnt known it originally but speed killing the bosses makes a huuuuuuuuuuge difference.


Im enjoying this.


Though, had I known the 5th boss was gonna fire a ginormous deathray, I probably would have gotten further; I totally didnt see it coming, and BLAT, my plane was just gone.....

My first lame score. While I've only had a chance to try a handful of credits this week, I can't understand why level 3 boss is such a wall. I one life it that far, and that's it!

Got pissed off and died THREE TIMES on the stage 4 boss. Also, the stage 5 boss is one of the best I have ever seen in a shooting game. Just the right balance between spectacle and challenge

Rolento is strange. I mean, he's a really easy boss and can be beaten very fast with relative easy, but mess up just once during his patterns and you can lose a life pretty easy. The enemies that come as he appears can also cause problems if not taken care of quickly.

And whats with the fire trick!? I can never get between them.

Abigail is damn annoying if you don't use cheap sword tactics.

With a few less deaths against the final boss and a better playing of stage 6, I could have pushed this to 14 mill. I have played the game for 9 straight hours though and need to take a break, I doubt i'll be able to improve on this perfect stage 1-2-3-4. Also using autofire, learning how to bomb properly, and finding all extends helped tremendously lolol.

I'm sure I can do better than this with a bit more time. I no-missed to Grantz (first time seeing him), then dropped all 3 of my extra stock on easy patterns. Bombs are definitely useful for increasing chance of survival, and with their two-for-one action and how plentiful they are, I should try to use them more. I don't know if I've ever died with no bombs left .

What's the bonus for speed killing a boss under A rank? I guess that's an S rank, but I've only ever been one second away from getting it (on the stage 1 boss at that )
