The PS3 still has a lot more exclusives that matter to me, like MGS4, Ryu ga Gotoku: Kenzan, Ryu ga Gotoku 3, Gran Turismo 5, Disgaea 3, Way of the Samurai 3, Valkyria Chronicles and Trico. Seriously, is there anything on Xbox 360 that`s even half as good as Ryu ga Gotoku: Kenzan?
AFIK, Trico isn't confirmed yet, and Ryu ga Gotoku 3 and Ryu ga Gotoku: Kenzan are both Japanese-only. (Nice if you can read the language, as I'm pretty sure that the PS3 is region-free for PS3 games.) I've never played any games in the Way of The Samurai series.

I've heard that part of the reason the PS3 is doing better in Europe is that there are more people who own HDTV's in Europe, but you'd want an HDTV for a 360. Even if they changed the brand name and outsourced it to an Asian or European company, the game lineup wouldn't change.

I think it's likely we'll see Ryu ga Gotoku released worldwide at some point, the 2nd one is being released outside of Japan in September - so they're at least testing the water.

Well, PS3 owners will definitely be getting Final Fantasy XIII first:

And a demo for the game is due out, for the PS3, in March:

That's right; I wonder why Gamespot had that story? Are Squeenix trying to worry 360 owners? :?

I think it's just a status report of sorts. If anything, they make it sound like the English PS3 release will be delayed for 360's sake. I think it's far more likely that they're planning to do the port in parallel with the localization (which for FF games usually takes the better part of a year anyway). I've seen reports that Crystal Tools already runs on PC for the sake of the next MMO, so a 360 port shouldn't be a ridiuclous task.

From the Article wrote:In the video, director Motomu Toriyama didn't beat around the bush when Nomura asked him questions about the 360 FFXIII. Starting off, he reconfirmed that, "We haven't changed the direction of the development. We're making the PS3 version first, and then porting to the 360 later." That means that since the game will be released simultaneously on both platforms in North America and Europe, the PS3 release will be held back in those territories until the 360 version is complete.
It's a little ambiguous. The part about the NA/EU PS3 release being delayed isn't a quote from S-E but analysis by the writer based on comments from E3. It could end up that the PS3 version is released first if the 360 development is held off for too long and the translation is completed.
