I also noticed something else, he fires a single stream of shots a la cave C button single press. Weird. Hack?
I don't think he photoshopped the color of the bullets, i can't find the image files anywhere :s.

A little more on topic this time:
So to make playing with guard off worth it you have to pretty much no miss the entire thing?
Let's say you clear the game with 4 remaining lives, you'll get 2m per life (8m) but if you played with guard off and finished with 3 lives, you'll get 7.5m? Stupid.

Way to make a fine game worse, i hate the autoguard thing, guess i'll play without caring much about other's people scores because it's a really fine game without it.

there's an extend in stage 3 for getting all 10 fountains then using slowshot right before boss

The autofire thing was a silly question, should havetried before asking, sorry.

Anyways as i said, there was no image files in any of the directories, but i noticed that i could open the .dat files with infranview and it would convert them automatically to .png.
So i did a batch conversion and stumbled upon this:

Didn't see it mentionned here, a 5th playable char?

1CC Heaven with all 3 types will unlock Eden's Edge. Picking this ship with the bomb button will let you play as the girl character instead of the craft.

For my next attempt I think I'm going to turn autoguard off (it isn't of much use, anyway, since it's easy to one-life the first 3-4 stages even if staying at the upper half of the screen exclusively).

Lost a really stupid life on stage 2 boss, it was one of those "wtf just hit me?" moments.

Also, i just wanted a 1CC of original with guard off, played very very safe and ended up with 0 lives and 0 bombs left, lol, didn't try to score/pointblank in this one:

There's really 2 things i hate in this game, trying a perfect stage 3 scoring run and those big ass crafts that appear twice at the end of stage 5 with nearly undodgeable patterns.

ATI tray tools seems to hate this game for some reason and won't let me take screenshots.

Also, i'm dying to know this, is there ANY way to keep the original, unstretched ratio of this game (or better yet, all games that don't offer the option) when you play on a widescreen monitor? Please tell me that yes, 16:10 makes the game much uglier than it is.

Havent been able to 1cc original mode yet but ive put that on hold.Playing with auto-guard off now.I have to take less risk but it adds more strategy to the game trying to time my bombs plus having them actually do damage rather than just act as extra lives.It also seems to be even more fun...though certainly frustrating.Atleast i dont get hit by a bullet and just shrug as though it were nothing though.
