Made it to the boss, but not this run. I was too buys dying 4, yes 4 fucking times on stage 4. I can at least get the extend now.

Nice, GJP. Stage 4 is a bitch, isn't it. It's probably my fave though, I just really love the enemy patterns in that stage. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Try and get to the last boss with at least 3 spare lives if you want to clear it. Otherwise, it'll be pretty damn hard, especially if you haven't fought it much before. I've beaten the last boss without dying, but only once or twice, and only with Abnormal Palm.

No miss up until Stage 5 (ended Stage 4 with 460mil). I proceeded to die 3 times in stage 5, then ended my game seconds before destroying the last boss. Really fucked up a great run.

I usually do okay on Stage 4... die once, bomb twice, something like that. I was well on my way to getting to the last boss w/ plenty of remains. :/ The kicker is now I can't spend too long in that arcade. The cigarette smoke is killing me. I've lost my voice, and I keep going out to bars and having to yell, which of course, makes it worse. Gotta take a day or two off.

This doesn't move me up in the ranking (though it is still good enough for the #1 slot here), but I just had to post this Abnormal Reco Original mode 1CC score I got tonight:

ORIGINAL MODE - RECO
257,955,703 - TWE - ALL (Lx1) - Abnormal

I played with Ab reco for the past two days, and it took a lot of adjusting to get used to her, but getting the 1CC with her was a real blast (even though it was hard as fuck). One of the most satisfying acheivements I've had with this game.

With this score, I've now 1CC'd Original mode with all 4 character types. As far as I know, I have the top Western scores for each of the 4 characters in Original as well.

Congrat!I think it was not a peace of cake to make that run.In abnormal mode,i have not enough play with reco but it's always a painfull to score or go the stage 4.
My high score i have made one month ago.(different id on french board

Nice score Koma, thanks for posting it.

And yeah, it is really difficult to clear the game with Abnormal Reco. She's the hardest character to use and score with.
But I had a lot of fun taking up the challenge, and I'm quite proud of my score.

No, unfortunately. I am not able to record runs either.

I actually think the first 2 stages are quite easy with Ab reco once you practice a few times. I normally end Stage 2 with 16,600+ on the main counter with Ab Reco, and around 62million points. From stage 3 on, however, it gets very difficult. The best tip I can give you is to plan a strategy for when to use the lock-on C shot in each level. Memorize when the big enemies come in the screen, and how to approach them safely and effectively with the C shot.

Stage 5 isn't too bad after some practice. Here's a tip: only use the lock-on shot on the big armored turtles after they backup out of a building. When they appear at first, just hammer them with the A shot. I use the A shot completely on the first large turtle in the level.

Such cock in ass in my neighborhood. Went in on a completely cold run (probably been a month since I played). Start of stage 5, I hit bomb instead of fire. THEN, I bomb just before the extend to insure I get it, and forget to go far left to pick it up. Of course, I get to about 1 inch of beating that cunt last boss. Oh, well. Next time maybe. One more bomb would've done it.

Be sure to give Normal Reco a try in Original mode. She's the easiest to score with for me, and the only character I've been able to break 300mil with. Her C shot is really useful in the later stages due to its range (=width). Abnormal Palm's C shot totally sucks, it's the worst in the game (super weak, no range).

I had yesterday the chance to play Futari for the first time, it's really awsome \o/
I should have known eariler that there is a shop with a Futari cab in my town (Munich). He gave 9 free plays and I made up to Stage 3 with Palm, dunno the exact score, but it was 30 million and 150 thousand but i dunno further.
