The code is for Muchi Muchi Pork, and adds Pink Sweets bosses. Also, it doesn't work that great since there's no "bomb-shield" to help you out on any of the attacks. Kinda regret using my code, actually

Well I've put my pre-order down. Did it through the link in the e-mail on my phone, through the mobile Play Asia site. All seems legit, though the link for the product on my order summary still redirects to the Play Asia home page.

I'm sure someone will want it for completion's sake. I wouldn't pay that much since I don't care for it, but that's the beauty behind selling a DLC card: only people who already used a DLC card will know if they like it or not.

The way you wrote it makes it sound like there is some weird pricing glitch that lets you get the game for free or something. So it's just how to order it? Because I was able to find it without using the mobile site.

With the SH3 games dumped, has anyone ever dived into the code to confirm the loop requirements? I recall EOJ mentioning that the current world record notated a death in loop 1 before the stage 3 midboss (did anyone ever mirror the Cave STG backups?), which conflicts with the no miss requirement that I'm aware of.

The reprint won't have the DLC will it? Seemingly the version that comes with the "ultimate collection" will so I imagine that will be the case.

I got the LE a few months after it was released via a reseller on ebay for about £55 as best I remember. Within a few weeks of me buying it the price went up to about £90 caused by a spiral of scarcity and panic buying.

If this game has become hard to find it's nice that people will get the chance to grab a copy.

Last night I was playing MMP and realized for the first time that rank actually does matter - I got to the stage 3 boss with four lives in stock and that turret fire she shoots in her second phase was much tighter than it is when I get there with 1 or 2 in stock. On a later run I was dying a lot and the first stage 4 midboss was a pushover, when usually it's too tight for me to be comfortable without bombing. I'd never given Pork's rank much consideration, but I guess I need to start if I want to keep improving.

I also tried Harahara and Manpuku for the first time - lol.

Sorry to bump this old thread. Just got a LED monitor that I can set up vertical and was trying to configure MMP/Pink Sweets to fill the screen as much as possible. It seems to stop scaling when it has a couple inches to go on either side of the screen. Can anyone let me know their preferred settings to fill it up? I bet i've got some odd setting set that messed it up
