Agreed; I liken Trouble Witches Neo to Castlevania: SotN, insofar as (for me at least) the cheesy English voices are part of the charm. I can certainly see why others might not see eye-to-eye with me on that though, heh.

I think cheesy male voices are a lot less... grating? than cheesy female ones that are all oddly high pitched and annoying sounding. Male ones just sound goofy and out of place usually.

Perhaps this happens because the people that choose the voices for the english cast don't understand that the japanese voices are like that because they are part of a characterisation.

In japan voice tone X = Shy person while in the west voice tone X = completely different or non-existant personality

Are preorders for this sold out or something? I was going to preorder the LE on Amazon but there aren't any available directly from them, only a few on the marketplace for like 12,000 yen and the SLE is totally unavailable. Is there somewhere else I should be preordering from? For that matter for those living in Japan can I just preorder it at Geos or Tsutaya?

I went to Bic today and they said that they are no longer accepting pre-orders for either of the limited editions. I may try Geo tomorrow though. Let us know if you find a retailer that is still taking orders

The only thing being Nico premium gets you is the ability to watch the archive over a week. Non-premium can only "reserve timeshift", which gets you a 24hr archive viewing session of your choice between the end of stream and 1 week later. I don't know why they have to make it so complicated though. Is bandwith really that precious?

Asada walked in, showed some menus, and played the ridiculously easy xbox/saya mode. Nothing that you haven't heard/seen before, the only real difference in this saya-mode is that your bombs/lives are now one meter, and that it's vvveerryyy easy. Good novice mode i'd say.

I can see not playing Novice modes in Cave games. They are pretty patronizing and way too watered down.
Not playing Arrange modes is a bit odd tho imo. Some of them are pretty fun.

BTW, In that nico live game-show where Asada was playing... at one point, he went to some menu with lots of stuff listed, and they all began with the word "DLC".
