I ordered mine back in August before region free was announced. It was a gamble, cuz i would have had to buy a jp360.

Same. I think we're going to have to wait. :?

Friday is a holiday for UPS, so don't worry about that.

I'm not familiar with Ultra, but the patterns look like reduced-velocity, reduced-density versions of the originals to me. In some cases the bullets have been shrunk. The suicide bullets from the stage 5 lanterns are tiny!

Some of the enemies don't fire at all...or delay their fire so long that the player kills them before they fire, I guess.

Every designated bomb carrier (directly before the stage 2, 3, and 4 bosses, and just before the stage 5 1up) has two bombs instead of one.

Like Van_Artic said, the hidden extend in stage 5 is now two hidden extends, and the two largest purple enemies in stage 5 (shortly after the midboss and shortly after the 1up) each drop one bomb instead of nothing. That's all I got.

(...so many bombs @_@;)

Mine has shipped Priority Mail. I'm hoping I get it by Friday or Saturday. New York isn't that far away...

Novice Ultra does look pretty interesting; has a Blue Wish Resurrection feel to it. Certainly no-missable for everybody, no-bombable for many players. Great job, Cave! There's no better way to make a game for everyone.

Anyone order this game with ridiculously priced next-day Air or other means to get the game as soon as possible?

Yeah that make way more sense. I don't know anything about burning 360 games, maybe they can't remove dummy data or something.

maybe some one dumped the raw unscrubed ISO or something?
minus the security sectors, that would be about the max image size right?

same for me. mine shipped Standard Air today from PA and i have the next 5 days in a row off...

well, next week will be brilliant.
yyr wrote:Mine shipped this morning too... I also did the Play-Asia slow shipping.

I don't remember how long it took last time. I'm in New York, USA... anyone have any estimate?
should be 7 days or under. id imagine the only way it would be over 7 days is if the holliday screwed things up.

id still bet less than a week though.

Well my copy from NCSX shipped today, to go with my copy from Play-Asia that shipped yesterday. Got two to cover my arse just in case one fell through, so will have an extra copy to sell to someone.

You should get a J one. Then you can have Death Smiles also. Hop on the bandwagon.

Played a little bit - great port - seems to be spitting out the achievements (if you care for that sort of thing), but will have to get back to some work.

I've been toying with just paying up for Ketsui PCB , get my top hat, have done with it - but if Ketsui is going to get this treatment, i wont bother.

How does the arcade mode look? Death Smiles AM looked awful. I was wondering if this would look better, since M2 worked on it.

Ketsui is still 5pb though as far as I know... assuming it even comes out at all.

Like one or two others who posted here, I had an LE ordered at both NCSX and Play-Asia in case one of them couldn't get it in stock, and both have now shipped. NCSX's UPS delivery is scheduled to Monday thanks to the holiday, but I got a last minute coupon insertion + upgrade to EMS shipping for the Play-Asia order. So, as little sense as it makes geographically, the copy coming from Hong Kong has a better chance of getting here this week than the one coming from New York --;;

Oh, had a little scare there. Got really worried when i logged into ncsxshop and found that my order wasn't listed in order history. It's at the shopncsx site though, but still just at "Payment Received" :(

theres a set of filters to either weird things out or add scan line/scan effects, it helps make things look less pixelated. I don't think it looks anywhere near Deathsmiles, then again i went straight to filter 4 and that should knock a lot of the edges of it.
