I picked up another Astro City from Ken at the Gameroom and finally got the cabinet this weekend as I had it shipped to Gunbird18's work, and we used it at our meet. So now I have 2 side by side Astro City's. One vertical and one horizontal. I should have done this a long long long time ago.

That's not the Blade Runner book, that's a book about Rutger Hauer as far as I can tell. The Blade Runner book is called 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' by Philip K. Dick, and it's exemplary Sci-fi (although kind of different from Scott's vision.)

I love that Rosa poster - are those still available?

I'd been after a decent sized painted Helena (DOA) figure for ages - finally got one, lucky enough to find a new boxed 8 year old one from Epoch:

The book titled "Future Noir: The Making of Blade Runner" by Paul M. Sammon is worth a read for the interesting stories that came about during the actual filming of the cult sci-fi classic that is BR. There were some really heated sessions with director Ridley Scott and the head honchos at Warner Bros. studios back in 1981-1982 in trying to get the film spearheaded with his artistic vision of BR unaltered. Some of those classic BR film lines uttered by actor Rutger Hauer was said on the fly and the film crew were crying during filming since they were moved and touched by his beautiful lines of speech. Sometimes, it's best to shoot a scene and not go by the script if the actor or actress can do a better job by making up their own diaglog to better it.

The lighting in the room is, umm, 3 different colours and none of them bright enough for good photos.

Cab is now in pieces awaiting paint.
