That I would LOVE to see!

I sent all the Dogyuun DIP settings to CHI (via a text message - that was traumatic!), because I'm stupid and I forgot to give him my manual photocopy with the board, so hopefully the game will be in and ready to run soon. Any news on that CHI? I'll be down Thursday.

Ok Nice 1 CHI.
I'll bring Raiden DX after that. Purely for Mills replay recording purposes. Three to four loops on 1 life is always worth watching.
I've come down with a touch of Sars at the moment (off work today). Should rebound by monday evening.

Shit. That's a real shame Smraedis...

So, Dogyuun is in, and looks lovely, and is initially as confusing as hell. last night it turned the brains of me, m0nks and Rupert H to mush

However, read this strategy discussion and it turns out it's pretty simple.

Thanks to CHI for installing my board and sorting all the DIP stuff. I'll try and head down Saturday for 6pm...

^Hey no problem Mr Mills, Raiden DX goes in when 'The Mills Challenge' is completed and not before.

I should be able to see you all next year sometime, I'll be less busy then, but will still need somewhere to stay :|

Going to have to put a replay of MBL on youtube sometime, been playing proper random games lately, haven't felt in the mood to stick to one game. Had enough of 1941

I'll try to learn more games, but then I have no idea what will be in Casino when I'm there :D

Last night I spent a few hours in Casino, Mills was there revealing that there is more than one level in Tatsujin. Also spoke to his mate Kevin who was kind enough to explain some of the features of Dogyun.

I played DDP DF mainly, had a go on strong mode for a change and got past 2 billion (its easier to chain and the bosses fall more quickly than on Bomb mode)

It was really quiet compared to recent Thursdays, I guess that's what happens when Tekken 6 get its console realease.

Annoyingly hard and in your face game. just been checking out the replays (ALL 10 STAGES) on youtube. Stage10 was pretty weird at the beginning where you have the option to change into some big transformer style robot.

We didn't have any trouble 1CCing it when it was first in Goodge.
I enjoyed playing it on friday.

I still can't say the same for Dodondryfukkatsu though. It just doesn't do it for me :( .

As the festive season is upon us, I was wondering if a little xmas shmupmeet would be a nice idea for everyone? I'll be down in London most of December - if you guys fancy a chat, some games and a beer in a warm and fuzzy central London destination, I'd love to see you all.

If you guys are up for it I can open a temp mini thread to organise.

I'm happy to bring party favours in the shape of PCB's too. :o

Yeah sounds good.

As for bringing boards, I guess Mega Black is going soon, so its time for another Hori. Suggestions on a postcard please...

Otherwise we have Tatsujin Oh, Dogyuun and Dodondryfukkatsu. So thats enough for a minimeet right there 8)

You must tell me about it. I went to Moscow just before the collapse, so it must be wildly different now.

Double that with it also being the premiere of End of The World movie 2012 :P .

So I will also be down for what might be the last chance

EDIT:- Mills, ARC, CHI, Inti were down last night.

I paid about £130 including postage within the UK I think DEL, and I think that was a very fair price a year ago...

Shame I missed you lot on Friday. Me and m0nks were in Thursday, and after a little Deathsmiles action (Amazing new durango78 score spotted on the hi-score board), I was left all alone. That's when I put some real effort into Dogyuun, and I'm in love again. Anybody in This week - I'm fairly flexible for a visit (or two) Mon - Thurs.

On the subject of 2012 - the actual date in the film and the wider prophecy is December 21st 2012 - my wife's 30th! End of the world party's a must!
