Played DUX today and was very impressed RHE, good job. The presentation is lovely, the music is great and its altogether a lot nicer to play than Last Hope.

Thanks to you both. :)

I just hope the sticker is waterproofed enough to stick there for a while.

Got my Dux LE from Play-Asia today (eventually) and really looking forward to playing it later.

It got caught in customs though, so I had an additional £12 to pay  Thats added about 30% onto the cost! Nevermind, I won't let that spoil my enjoyment of the game!

Can't remember if it's been clarified earlier, but will PA customers get the replacement disc from PA or HUCAST??

Maaan, my LE from Play Asia is still nowhere to be seen, I must admit though I will be 'over the moon' if I have to pay an extra £12 :/

I'm afraid not. Besides HUCAST.net only Play-Asia, VideoGamesNewYork and Videogamesimports stock DUX LE. Videogamesimports is the only option in the UK and its only about 10 EUR more than the official pricing suggestion, which I find to be fine considering the fact this edition is pretty rare already.

Hi,

I'm from France, I received the Limited Edition from Play-Asia but I'm a bit disapointed, when I opened it (yes I don't leave my games sealed, I'm not a psycho :p ) I found that the OST CD was missing :(

I got number 107 (which I like because I love 7) but I feel ripped off to have bought the LE at full price to have an incomplete product..

I wrote to Play-Asia but I don't think they can help, it's not their fault anyway because the game was sealed..

RHE can you do something for a sad customer please ?

Regards,
makaro

If you REALLY want it go get it there.

Just called Lee and it's job done (a hold for the revision)
The VAT price on the "full" LE was not the
on site price quoted to me & plenty in stock I confirm.

Indeed this sooths

@ RHE... Just waiting on you now bro 8)
and someone to pick up my WTB thread on ASSEmbler for the DC Last Hope LE.

Edit: Help makaro out on the soundtrack issue ?

All I can do is sending a Obvious Soundtrack to makaro. It has more tracks than the Original Soundtrack that comes with the LE, but it lacks of the outtake track etc. How about this?

that's nice of you but my LE will still be incomplete without the right OST :( you don't have spare original soundtrack CDs ?

pictures sent to play-asia as they requested for your info:

Those picutes are meaningless because everyone can just take the cd away and make such a pic, but you're the second case so I believe you. The thing is that all LEs are packed by hand, human mistakes may occour. Unfortunately I don't have more Original Soundtracks to spare.

of course I know those pictures are meaningless, but I just posted these for info, Play-Asia requested me to take these pics so I did...

and of course I do not blame anyone, mistakes can occur but the fact is that I paid full price for a LE and I got an incomplete one wich is sad for a game collector like me...

Shouldn't you then have two unexpected extra copies of the CD? If there are two packages without discs, then those discs must be somewhere.

Maybe. Currently no one reports to have 2 soundtracks instead of 1 withing one casing. I'm not sure how much people report such thing anyway. I hope I can tell soon what the production facility has to say about this concern.

I sure understand your situationen, I also paid for 500 discs, and it looks like I only got 498. I even can't open all LEs to check the discs, because they have to be sealed. It's pretty stupid.

So, do you want to take the Obvious Soundtrack? you can it into the casing and tell people you got a ultra rare special edition with a pink instead of orange disc.

I would be a fool to refuse it, but I can wait a few days until you try to sort this out with the "production facility", perhaps they have those missing Original Soundtrack CDs ?

Why doesn't he sent the game to you to put the disk in ,
you and maybe the rest of the Dux team sign it and make it a very special one of a kind , Ebay record braking , collectors edition .

@RHE: Would you be ok with idea proposed ? May I send you my LE game in its box and you send it back to me with Obvious OST inserted in place of the missing Original OST and signed by the DUX team ?

A sad customer would then become a really happy one :D

O.K so I have just received my LE version from Play Asia and once I happily paid the additional £12.50 custom tax (good times!!) I thought I would give my opinion purely on the cosmetic side of this release. First impressions being honest are dissapointing, the artwork looks washed out and lacks (in my opinion) a professional finish. I have never been a fan of DVD style boxing anyhow but also there are indents to the front and back of the case which are quite bad (I assume from the teeth inside the case). Its a shame because if this was done in the same layout as Last Hope LE it would have looked so much better. Don't get me wrong it looks presentable enough but it does not hold a candle to other indie releases (purely on cosmetic presentation) especially Last Hope and Wind and Water Puzzle (which in my opinion is the best presented indie game ever released). I know this may not interest most and I promise I am not moaning (as such :P) just giving an honest opinion, remember this is based purely on the cosmetics and NOT the game itself which for the record is of very high quality (very fresh and clean) and am pleased to say much harder than I expected which IS a good thing. Overall it is a great game its just a shame (In my opinion at least) that the presentation is not the best it could have been, I know DVD casing is cheaper BUT I, like I assume most others would have happily paid that little bit more for CD/White tray layout and spine (especially for the LE). Your thoughts/comments welcome ......................

I consider this option, but maybe the pressing facility can clarify this soon. I keep you up to date about this.
JUTMAN22 wrote: First impressions being honest are dissapointing, the artwork looks washed out and lacks (in my opinion) a professional finish.
The artwork is made with white DVD casing in mind, that's why it doesn't look perfect with black DVD casing. It's like to contrast between artwork and casing is too high, and the font isn't black enough. I understand your small disappointment about this, but this is an indendent release and so it should look like this, in my opinion. The LE is mainly about the orange border spine to fit ins someones collection, since I got many requests about this.

Nope. Maybe you had requested THE about this.
