I am curious since I havent played the original game and the Nessica one, what differences do they have??? Better graphics and more polished gameplay for Nessica??? Just guessing

New modes (Break-mode), new ships, achievements, updated graphics, online leaderboards, tate/yoko support. I'd say that it's better in every possible way.

Not to mention that the invicibility during break mode / after break modes has been shorten at least by half the time it used to be !
So no more crazy full lock on in the middle of a real mess to cancel everything. It's gonna be a lot harder now.

Achievements??? How's that? First time I see that kind of stuff in an arcade.
Sounds really sweet let's hope spring means May instead of june.

There are also new enemies here and there, and some patterns are adjusted to be slightly more difficult.

It might be because of the Nesica Card, it keeps your scores, and everything you do in memory. (type Z for exemple is not playable unless you have a Nesica card and you unlocked it after a couple of good games)

So, I'm curious, Icarus...was the fact that you did a demonstration of CC at Stunfest tied into this announcement, or just a coincidence? ;)

I'm assuming that video's going to be up on the CCWI teaser site at some point after Stunfest, I'd like to know if it's a straight port or if there's some new stuff.

And boy, you wouldn't believe how hard it has been for me to keep this as a secret.

The gane was slates for a spring release and spring ends in less than a month so if the season is right it should be out in a no more than 3 weeks from now.

Looks like it will have all the bells and whistles that you'd expect from a Steam release, except I don't see downloadable replays explicitly mentioned.

This announcement made my day. I'm very excited about this release.

That's my only main concern with the digital-exclusive release. Then again, Steam games can be DRM-free too; Satazius and La-Mulana, for example, can be run by directly executing the .exe file. (Steam integration will be disasbled, but that's hardly a loss for me.)

umm... this may sound really stupid, but how do I use bomb on this game? o.o

The key config menu of the game only lists:

Main Shot (Decide)
Lock On
Break Mode On
Pause

I know what those four commands are for. But what I want to know is how to use the normal bomb. I've seen people using it on videos and it looks like a sort of flame wave.

Bomb is only triggered when the break mode meter is not fully charged and at least up to the bomb notch. There is no way to trigger the bomb instead of the break mode if the bar is at 100% or over.

Correct. Also note how it conveniently says BOMB OK under your ship.

EDIT:

Also, that pattern of the final boss when the "big head" starts rolling and trying to collide with your ship, is one of the worst things I've seen on a shmup.
