I purchased a PVM 20M2U last week. The image quality is fantastic, but I'm having some problems:
- I can't get the sides flat, no matter how much I change the pin settings.
- More worrisome, the image seems tilted to the left.
(I changed vsize and hsize so that the problem is more visible.)

Sorry for the poor picture quality, but hopefully it's apparent that there is a lot of space on the top left of the screen.
There is some space on the bottom right as well.
I've been messing with the service menu options for a week now, and I looked through the service manual. I'm at a loss.
Thanks!

Could benefit with minor adjustment of the trapezoid. Not sure that's available on your chassis. Simple fix is to invoke overscan past the viewable area. Slight yoke rotation may also help, but personally I wouldn't bother.

I think I'm going to try adjusting the yoke; how do I do it safely? Can I leave the monitor plugged in, or should I let it discharge?

Really not sure you want to give that a go mate, so easy for something to go wrong.

Yeah, I'll put off on it until I find someone who can discharge the unit. Thanks for the warning!

Yeah just be careful, these things can be fragile and pack a punch when they zap ya. Had a 2530qm PVM that got me a couple of times, nothing major but then I wasn't messing with the annode cap or yoke.
