Friendly wrote:The savegame problem is annoying; I've been meaning to switch to US-PSN, too. But it makes sense that saves are tied to a PSN account; it's certainly better than tying them to the hardware itself. At least this way you can create backups and restore them on a different system.
I suggest you get a cheap 4GB memory card for your European account; they cost next to nothing now and should be big enough for a few saves (unless you have downloaded PSN content)..
I got a 4 gig with the system, but it's formatted now. I've kept a backup on my PC for just Dragon's Crown save data. If i ever decide to play it again i'll need another card, but I put 30 hours into it, may as well move onto something else. I'd get Ys if PSN was bloody working.
Otherwise that's it for the EU account, won't bother with it now.
To kill time I decided I may as well give Assassin's Creed 3 a look, it came free with the system so may as well.
Forgot how amusing current gen gaming is, and it's been ages since I tried out AC2. They're barely even games. The character is doing all these incredible acrobatics across the city, and all I'm doing is holding up on the stick and a shoulder button.

Challenging stuff.
