Identify indie game by vague description

It's a side-scrolling platformer with different characters, retro graphics, relatively recent, probably multi-platform (pc android ios). Main gimmick is if you die, you start again but the replays of you are present to back you up. I think a big deal was made of it at the time but my google skills have failed.

...and then when you stop your replays from biting the bullet you get that life back? Yeah, there was a thread/post about that one a month or so ago. Sorry, I can't remember the name.

It's more a run'n gun though, and 360-only

Thank you for the replies. Super meat boy I have heard of, it has a similar mechanic except in super meat boy the previous tries do not interact with the current run (afaik).

Super time force that's the one. A bit different to how I remember it, shame it's only on 360.

So, does anybody LIKE Super Time Force Ultra on PC or elsewhere? Many appear to dislike it, so I'm curious who DOES like. Anyone?
