I've been trying for several days now to access the Ura Loop in the smartphone mode of DoDonPachi Resurrection, and it seems I'm either doing something wrong or missing something that hasn't been mentioned anywhere I've looked. I've been trying to do this on Novice mode just to get some practice with memorizing bee locations and getting to the second loops consistently.
I've read that the conditions are apparently to get all 45 bee tokens and to remain on the hidden route at the end of the first loop (essentially don't die, correct?)
I have done exactly what I just mentioned above, multiple times, and I still get thrown back onto the normal route of the open 2nd loop after finishing the first loop. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
Is there something that I'm missing somewhere? I know for a fact that I'm getting all 45 tokens, so that isn't the problem.

Once you're in the 2nd loop, be it either the Omote/Normal loop or Ura/Hidden loop, there's no more 'routes' in terms of midbosses you face. That only applies to the first loop. If you're in the Omote loop you will always face the normal bosses, if you're in the Ura route you automatically face the hidden bosses as far as I know. It's not like the first loop where you have to worry about getting on and staying on the hidden midboss route.Questwizard wrote:I've read that the conditions are apparently to get all 45 bee tokens and to remain on the hidden route at the end of the first loop (essentially don't die, correct?)

The conditions in the arcade and Xbox port for Omote loop require 35 out of 45 bees (so you can miss the ones on the Ura midboss route and still get 'em) and not using a continue, or not more than one death (not sure if a bombing minimum applies). The Ura route on the other hand is much, much stricter - you need every single bee in the game AND you can't use more than 2 bombs (this includes autobombs) and you can't die more than once (this only applies to Power style as both other styles will use a third autobomb up and fail the requirements before it's even possible to die).
I remember reading somewhere the smartphone mode isn't as strict though in terms of requirements... so it's possible they're different from the standard. I haven't played it so I don't really know how its second loops work. Are you counting how many bombs (including autobombs) and deaths you have during the run?

I did use three or four bombs on the runs I did. Maybe there's a limit just like in arcade mode that hasn't been mentioned before. I guess I'll have to keep trying it until I just don't get hit at all and see what happens.

Collect all bees (45)
Max 2 bombs used (autobomb = bomb)
And that's it.

iirc, ura loop isn't accessible on novice mode. make sure the difficulty is set to normal or above, otherwise you'll always end up in omote loop.
