I think this deserves a new thread: Amazon (US only for the moment) now has a PSN section where you can purchase digital PS3, PS Vita and PS4 content. http://www.amazon.com/b/?node=1289533011
To celebrate the launch of the store, Amazon will be offering $5 PSN credit back on select digital purchases, and even better, customers who participate in the limited time buy two get one free promotion starting at noon ET today (Tuesday) will also get a bonus $5 PSN credit.
Forgot to mention that the store can also be used from outside of the USA; all you need is an Amazon account and a US-PSN account. Yay for region-free.
So how is this different than just buying a product over the PSN?

Eugenics: you know it's right!
Yeah, confused about the significance here when Sony already unveiled the Sony Entertainment Network Store months back that downloads directly to the system.

The only differences so far would be special promotions (like the one going on right now), and the ability to make purchases with Amazon credit.

True, although that brings up the interesting idea that buying at Amazon may miss out on PSN promotions that depend on PSN wallet use, like the recent $10 deal per $50 spent.
