Probably not impressive compared to some of the superplays and high score runs in here, but here's a simple no miss run of my first (blind) encounter with Seseri in Esp Galuda 2. Definitely a step up from when it used to take me 5 credits to reach stage 5 of Dodonpachi after a million playthroughs.

Infinite patterns in Batrider and Battle Bakraid

Guess it's not just Garegga with those orbiting planes, too bad it's not fully clear how infinite these are since the last of the patterns does time out in the Bakraid video and from what I recall in Garegga the game will crash if you try to abuse them too much.

I've been playing Burning Dragon Plus for the PC-98 recently, and I think it's rad. There's nothing but short clips on youtube, so I thought I'd record one of my runs. (my best so far, in fact)

I even annotated it to explain some of the scoring elements and point out some things I think are neat. Interestingly, it turns out that I'd triggered and collected an extend item in stage 2-1 - but I was so focused on not getting my ass handed to me that didn't realize it until I was annotating the video. I didn't even know it was there, much less how I made it appear... this game is stuffed with secrets.

Stage 2-2 is pretty entertaining to watch. I wouldn't say it goes well, but there are a few dodges that I think are really nice. The run ends at 2-4, because a) the loop is pretty tough and b) I'm sloppy as hell.
