Has anyone else ever played it on a two person arcade cab? viletim's JAMMA controls adapter allows you to map any input to any controller button. Set it up robotron style, and map the swap and release buttons near the joysticks to hit with your thumb or pinky. It's pretty sweet.
I liked my Euro cdi version so much I just shelled out for a real US. I don't think the US one was ever ripped and released, at least I could never find it that is.
Bangai-o on Dreamcast.
Re: Bangai-o on Dreamcast.
One day I'll make a two-stick controller for this one. Wanted to do it for ages, but never got around. Should be fun to play it with sticks.

Well while you're at it use those joysticks with one little button on top, that would be the bomb.

A member who hasn't posted here in a very long while posted one on his FB that he picked up in Book Off. I think it was 190 yen. Fucker.

There is a Book Off in Japan? That explains a lot. I went to the one in NYC and I like how it has a used game section with imports. They have JP books and manga too. Not a whole lot of older games there, but prices are good, especially for NYC.GaijinPunch wrote:A member who hasn't posted here in a very long while posted one on his FB that he picked up in Book Off. Re: Bangai-o on Dreamcast.
When I had a Dreamcast hooked up to my 4-player NBA Jam woody cab (later sold that one to Noah) I rewired the controls to dual stick just to play this game. It worked great except it was a pain to let go of the stick to press the bomb button at the last possible second. Like Antron mentioned, you'd need a foot pedal.
Re: Bangai-o on Dreamcast.
I thought about putting transform on the left side of the left stick and bomb on the right side of the right stick. I usually don't have a problem using my little finger on a button while using the stick next to it.
Re: Bangai-o on Dreamcast.
^ this works great on my cab. The P2 top left button is already under my right pinky, and P1 buttons can be hit pretty quick with my left thumb.
