TFP has a birthday notifier thingy. I figured you probably don't spend much time there so I posted here.

21? You owe it to yourself to drink at least as much as it takes to make you puke til noon. You only turn 21 once!

H'ppy b'day cap'n. Enjoy your milestone birthday celebrations. (It's customary here Oop Norf to drink at least one whole bottle of spirits on your 21st, normally two, and usually something at least 35% proof. I expect your typing to be shot to hell when you get back here ^_-)

Hey, happy birthday. Did you do what I did a few months back, and visit the bar at like 11:59PM the night before? Guy had to check his watch instead of the calendar hehe. :) Anyway, hope you have a great night.

Happy 21st! Have fun, but be safe. And by that I mean make sure there's enough backup beer in the fridge before you go out.

Happy Birthday, Capt.!

My advice: go for quality over quantity. Order a really good scotch and enjoy it, don't slam it. Get a martini. This is your opportunity to be an adult in an adult atmosphere. Fuck fratboy crap. Stay sober enough to have conversation and flirt or whatever.

Actually, my advice is: do whatever the hell you feel like doing (provided you're not causing significant harms to others).

you bet ganson. drinking for me will be enjoyed. i will be a person who drinks eclusively the "good stuff."

and as far as i'm thinking there will be no drunks on my permanent record.

and thanks everyone for the sentiment. i love these forums. hearing pirate talk brings a tear to my eye. so many cultures, united by a common arr.

Just a reminder that quality and quantity are not mutually exclusive. Pursue both for optimum enjoyment.

This man exhudes wisdom, everyone should listen to him!

*pours himself a Martini, btw*

Happy B-day, Cap'n!

Make sure you buy the drink YOURSELF. On my 21 b-day, I'm planning to get myself a beer, and when they ask me for ID, I'll pull it out with a "give me my beer, bitch!" body motion.
"Sooo, what was it that you consider a 'good salary' for a man to make?"
"They should at least make 100K to have a good life"

Sometimes I often think that to myself when I get carded. (every once in a while I still get carded and I'm 35!!!!!)
