Your NEXT system!
Re: Your NEXT system!
A pretty good topic for this board actually, considering that allot of the users are interested in older tech.
I'm hoping for a decent price drop on a ps3. I needs a blue ray player, and there are enough exclusive games.
A wii for $50 - that's my limit, 55 with tax. That's all I'm paying, it's getting close to me being able to get one at that price.
I would like a ps vita, but only for one game.. So, I'm holding out for an okay deal. I got my PSP as a bundle for more than I wanted to pay, but I ended up really enjoying the system, worth it in the long run.
I need a new PSP, the screen went to shit. Prolly pick on up on pawn for around 50, but it's low priority, so within a year...

Word, there are a few imports I'd like to play plus the effort of modding, for sure.xris wrote:A wii for $50 - that's my limit, 55 with tax. That's all I'm paying...

Anyone semi-tempted by the Zelda Wii U bundle unit?
I have to admit, the packaging does sort of entice me...but then I think back to how much I disliked Wind Waker (those endless boring sailing sequences) and that immediately turns me off.

Yeah that's part of the reason why I haven't made the impulse purchase so far.Pretas wrote:A warning about the Zelda Wii U bundle: the game is a digital copy.
Kind of an odd "special edition"...the only real 'special' item is the controller. Everything else (apart from the box) is a stock WiiU and the digital copy of the game is a cheap way out.

The Fire Emblem 3DS bundle was the same. The game came on a memory card and it wasn't playable on a different system-- in particular, I couldn't play the game with that card on my 3DS XL. As a result I had to buy the game again so I could play it on a properly-sized screen.Pretas wrote:A warning about the Zelda Wii U bundle: the game is a digital copy.

Probably 3DS XL. The Pokemon Limited Edition Blue looks pretty.

I'm in the process of picking up an SG-1000 II, just found one on Rakuten and now I'm waiting on the seller to process my order. Hopefully it's one of the later models which can be modded for RGB; my Mark III, Japanese SMS and modded SMS play SG-1000 games fine but I'm getting real tired of the messed up color palette they use for SG-1000 games.

Nice that it's an XL. Not quite as cool looking as the Fire Emblem 3DS, though.soprano1 wrote:Probably 3DS XL. The Pokemon Limited Edition Blue looks pretty.
