Songs stuck in your head.

Post by Specineff »

It has happened to most of us. You hear or remember a song, and then it plays inside of your head all the darn day long.

Which songs have you got stuck in your head once? Which one does it happen more often with?

Right now, I can't get rid of "Abracadabra" by Steve Miller. It just keeps on going round and round in my head. It just wants to reach out and grab me. And it's driving me nuts. :P

This happens a lot indeed, and more often or not it's just the first song I hear on the radio when I get up before getting to work.
It can be annoying when that particular song is one you dislike.

I believe the last song that got stuck in my mind has been "Tears run rings" by Marc Almond, which actually is a song I like a lot. :)

I can't think of any real "regulars" atm though.

I swear it is driving me up the wall - I'm listening on the radio to my beloved Scotland making heavy weather of a friendly with the USA, and all I have in my head is that god-awful black eyed peas song with that girl going on and on about her "hump"

Prepare to hate me.

"PUSH THE LITTLE DAISIES AND MAKE THEM COME UP!"

If you don't know that song by Ween, you're lucky. If you do know it, you hate me now.

At the moment I can't get the music from the first level of Sparkster (SNES version) out of my head.

The trouble is, I never have the luxury of having a whole piece of music repeating in my head - it's usually just 4 or 5 seconds of it, which makes it all the more annoying. :(

That acoustic guitar piece from the 70's titled, "Classical Gas".
I think about it, but I cannot play it...maybe one day when I devote some time to learn it.

I finished doing cinematography for a music video of "Bubblecraft" by the band Pilotdrift yesterday. So after fifteen replays of that song (at least), I have a feeling it's going to be stuck in my head for the forseeable future.

But the songs that pop in my head the most are:

"Fun Fun Fun" - The Big Boys
"Blue Train" - John Coltrane
"Why Can't We Be Friends?" - War

Weird...
