GB(C/A) LAN gaming
I'm trying to figure out which Game Boy games are worth collectng multiple carts of with Game Link Cable support in mind. Also, whether or not carts of different regions work with each other (I assume it depends on game). Recomendations would be welcome (even if you only experienced multiplayer via emulation).

Tetris GB b/w is definitely worth getting multiple copies of. As far as I know, the game is the same worldwide (aside from early JP copies having different game A music). Pac-Man and Dr. Mario are also fun in multiplayer, though Pac-Man b/w isn't compatible with the color one, if I remember correctly.
Are you also interested in hot potato multi and games with multiplayer on SGB? The Advance Wars games and Mario Golf GBA have hot potato multiplayer where you hand off the system to the next player. Both Advance Wars also have multi-cart play, but single cart link play is limited, unlike single cart hot potato play. Mario Golf GBC sadly needs two carts for alternating play.

Other local multiplayer modes are of interest to me as well, although SGB-wise, emulation on PC is probably the way to go.
Speaking of Dr. Mario, I wonder if the GBA remake bundled with Panel de Pon comes with a single cartridge mode.
Motocross Maniacs with just one cart and one GB can be played "vs CPU". No idea if CPU scores different times at different attempts, but I wish more GB games had such a phony multiplayer mode (to give me any idea what the real thing is about).
Revenge of the 'Gator has got a "pass the GB" mode. Nice touch.

Revenge of the Gator also has a vs. mode with two carts. From what I remember, it is pretty fun.

RADAR MISSION
I've never seen it working but I can imagine Game B against a human player would be pretty exhilirating for a GB game - and Virtual Console sadly doesn't emulate link cables.

The ol' GBA title called Tron Killer App supports up to 4 people with the cool in-game Light Cycle game. You can even race the classic LCs from the 1982 Tron flick if so desired. Digital Eclipse added both Tron and Discs of Tron arcade game emus to play as well (but it's squashed at the usual 240 x 160 res mode).

Radar Mission has been on my radar (I hereby inform you of the amusement of mine) because of:
a) groovy title and
b) Gunpei Yokoi's involvement.

Re: GB(C/A) LAN gaming
It's certainly not a great game, but some friends of mine and I fired up Sonic Battle in no$gba for some four player action [man, I adore the fact that it supports that, plugged in 4 PlayStation controllers and went to town], and quite a bit of fun was had.
Haven't had many other multiplayer experiences regarding the GBA/GBC, sadly, so I'm certainly interested in recommendations too.

Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

I have to check, but I think Dr. Mario/Puzzle League only has demos available via download play and needs more than one cart for multiplayer.
Yoshi's cookie and F1 race have four players with that GB four player adapter, but probably are a hassle to set up since they are made for the old style cables and require four carts.

From what I understand, Game & Watch Gallery Advance (a.k.a. 4) requires just one cart to play certain games (Boxing) in 2 player mode.

I love the music for Game B, it sounds a lot like Gallantry from Raiden DX. Also, you should check out a very obscure game called Go! Go! Tank. It was made in 1990, and it supports 2 players through the link cable. It's basically a combination of a horizontal shmup and a puzzle strategy game. You control a little plane with a cargo hook and you have to move blocks around to make a path for your allied tank to get to the end of the level, and you can also shoot bombs that go up a little and fall in an arc. The tank can only jump a certain height, and if its path is blocked, it will take damage and turn around. It can also shoot at enemies independently. When playing 2 players, each player controls their own plane, while helping the tank through the levels. Also, the music for the final stage is really good. Don't be fooled by the North American box art, the game looks more like the Japanese box art.
