Did I miss that shade of grey.
Alas, neither works (via adapter) with the 'Cube and Wii games I tried (even though SoulCalibur II works with one of my DS2-s and a digital Hori PSX pad). Guess I will need another CCP at some point (for Tatsunoko vs Capcom and split-screen Monster Hunter Tri if nothing else).
Nevertheless, my next purchase of the sort is likely to be a PS2 multitap. Just in case.

Craigslist find. Launch model Japanese PS2 (SCPH-10000). Barely used. The DVD software wasn't even installed on the memory card.

I usually don't care about LEs very much these days, but this one's a beauty - a real celebration for a true 2D classic:

I was really really tempted to leave my no-LEs principle behind, but I didn't, and ordered the reg. edition. Now I'm regretting it!

I don't even own a PS3 and I considered ordering that LE. A cool bundle to be sure.

I wonder how well Soldiers actually sold. It was hyped by journalists before launch, then came out even less forgiving than Commandos and people's excitement seemingly waned. It has, however, two things going for it to this day:
a) Everything is destructible. Run 'n' gun or shmup powered by the engine would be sick.
b) Each playable character can be controlled directly, which makes the game effectively run 'n' gun every now and then.

As for Ghost Recon, the seller had also the second add-on (or is it standalone?) in store, but I could not justify the purchase yet.

Just snagged a super-slim PS3 bundle last weekend. I had purchased the US release of UD HD several months ago, Uncharted 3 came with the console and Hatsune Miku Diva F arrived in the mail today.

Project Diva F is really great, I played pretty much nothing but that for like 2 months straight when the Japanese version came out. Even bought the "stick" for it.

So Monster Hunter Tri is half-disabled now. Oh dear. Here's hoping split-screen delivers regardless.

This morning, after two years of searching, finally, I got a missing piece in my Darius Laserdisc jigsaw!

This is my third Darius Laserdisc, the others being Darius and Darius Gaiden (aka: The Live Action Darius Gaiden movie). I just need Super Darius Perfection now to complete the set! I've only seen one copy for sale though in three years so I've got my work cut out!

HUGE thanks to the main man Julian T. Buttnipples (aka rancor) for hooking me up with this, and for throwing in a bag og Pepsi flavour crisps!

You wont be thanking me when you open them to try a few. Worst thing I've ever tasted. Couldn't finish 1/4 of the bag. Somehow they managed to carbonate the actual cheetos. :( :? :(

... but good novelty factor.

Oh, and the book arrived today. thankyouverymuch, sir.

How the fu...? HOW do you carbonate Cheetos?

You know what I think Julian Z. Putterbuttocks? I think next time I want more karate chop bars! Those are awesome! Or ghost Kit Kat's! Thanks again for hooking me up with that Laserdisc, just one more to go now, if it ever surfaces again for sale.

Glad the book arrived safely my good knave. Talking of which, I reckon that 15kg superhaul should be due pretty soon, it's been nearly two months!

It won't be sealed for too long ;) I heard of this game back in the day but never had a chance to play it, for some reason it is said to be one of the rarest Saturn gems. This is the vid that convinced me to buy it even though it's not cheap : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0FJ5CWBaZ8

2nd Classic Controller Pro shapes up to be the last piece of additional Wii gear I'll be getting for a while (though I find the Tatsunoko vs Capcom stick tempting, it would probably just clutter up the place most of the time).

Suppose I may as well stick this here. My second Bang & Olufson MX4000 CRT, this time with official remote and stand. Pretty much mint condition, set me back a total of £35. Already installed a button on the back to enter service mode. After (a lot) of tweaking and fiddling the picture is now utterly gorgeous.

Just got this in the mail today! I remember it first going up on Hobby Japan and missing out because I didn't have any income. It popped back in stock a few months ago and I reserved it immediately. And I don't regret it one bit 8) Kind of a shitty picture, looks a bit better even in person. Her skirt is loose-fitting, so I can sorta jiggle it around, but it's not cast off ;)

Oh man, that's a thing? Coooool.
I love my S3, but a huge-ass screen like that is just what the doctor ordered [or what he would have, if he knew such a thing existed  ].
