Fun demo! I liked the last stage especially, and the mirror image thing was v.cool. Nice stuff.
Thanks, glad you like it. The final demo version will have 10 levels instead of 8, gotta work on that.

Edit: Demo has been updated with the remaining 2 levels.

I'm not dead yet! I feel fine!

Anyway, I have been slowly working on Mastery and Perspective. There's new demos of both games up now.

I've also updated Twin Reaper with 2 new levels and some other stuff.

Also updated Sphere Shift with 4 new levels, 1 new enemy and some other stuff.

Pretty much done with Mastery. I may add some bonus levels, depending on if I feel like it.

Still working on Perspective. Should be done at some point.

Don't know if anyone cares at this point, but I've been working on an update for all my Flash-based games which adds true fullscreen support (not stretching the window out or changing the desktop resolution, squishing all your windows in the process). Of course, this update is only going to affect the full versions of the games, since the demo versions still run in the browser.

I've also been making some major code optimizations; the games should run much better in general. Especially the graphic heavy ones like Sphere Shift and Twin Reaper. I've been testing them out on my netbook and they run pretty well now. Anyone who's tried making a Flash game run well on a slow-ass netbook should appreciate this .. :p

Should hopefully be done with it soon.

Is there no way to support resizing on the fly when run in a browser?

I think the only browser based plugin that allows that is Unity.

Finally finished the Big Flash Update(tm).

Aside from the fullscreen support and better performance, there's also much more detailed in-game help in each game.

I'm already working on something new. Some news on that soon-ish.

Keep up the good work! Just had a blast on perspective: seems like a similar concept to the one I played previously, but more refined all round. Better main sprite, cleaner visuals and more variety of concepts. Is it a sequel or a remake?

Thanks. It's more of a sequel than a remake.

Edit: Unless you're talking about the Perspective test version I had up here, in which case, it's the same game, I just improved the art a lot.

Sooooo yeah, I'll probably be updating this thread again at some point.

I finished another shmup, Zero Cross, but that's already been posted about elsewhere.

I have plans for MOAR games that I'll be doing. Yes, MOAR. None of them are shmups, though!

Yet another Flash game update. What's on the menu this time? Lots of random polish-related stuff.

General

Removed instructions from the main menu and placed some art or effects in it's place.
Added more transitions/effects, and made them look better.
Added a unique end level status screen.
Changed button fonts so they stand out from the regular font.
Added unique graphics to the level select screen.
Added new background art
Added status bar art

I've updated Twin Reaper with some new enemy designs! Previously most of the enemy designs were copied from XOP or XOP Black enemy designs .. I've put some other ones in there, and changed the art to a low (32 or less) color palette style. There's only 6 XOP designs left in there now.

Finally put up a test version of the new game I'm working on .. Bounce is an overhead breakout game, with experimental gameplay/art style. The gameplay is pretty experimental so far, nothing is 100% set in stone just yet, so any feedback is appreciated.

All of the games (Including XOP Ultra Bundle, omg!) are now free to download. Big thanks to Rancor for helping me with the bandwidth/hosting.

Grab 'em while you can, because he'll probably decide to sell them again in a few years. :P

Forget the rest - LiquidPaint 2.0.

That program is some serious trip right there.

EDIT: Is that one of my bullet sounds in the menu for Zero Cross, or coincidence? :P

Oh, right. I completely missed it, it's amazing.

I don't suppose there's a way to configure it so the moving around in the views can be altered or to change res outside the ones in the menu? I'm thinking of replacing my warp sprite in GMOSSE with something I came up with using Pulse but it keeps moving around for me to make an animated sprite. :P

No, you can't do custom resolutions .. sorry. Maybe just crop the output?

I'll see if I can pull it off. Thanks anyway. Main thing was just the whole thing moving around like a drunk trying to record a video anyway, I can handle the rest.

Holy crap, this thread is old. Probably because I've been so long since I released a game. I'm planning on releasing Bounce soon. I have all the levels done, I just need to do more testing and make sure everything's 100%.

Game's almost complete. Just in the final testing phases. Every time I feel like releasing it, I go back, test it, and find something else I want/needed to change .. this is probably a good thing. lol

Emphatic has given me some of his music to use, and it sounds great. Big thanks to him!
