WTF was Daigo doing 4 fierce uppercuts in a row against Tokido?

PR Rog switching to Fei Long like those Qanba guys= rage. Glad he came to his senses and went with what he knows and it paid off against Infiltration.

Daigo should quit fighting games and switch to Shmups. Then we'd see some real fun!!! Hehehe

P4A's finale and Japan/America 5v5 matches were crazy town.

Also, this was insane. UFGT9 P4A finals, something one of a kind happens to end it all. I dare not spoil it.

Really glad to see Xian take SF4. Great matches all around in the top 8, much better than last year's.

Don't worry about it. You can travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda and back 1500 times before the sun explodes.

On my way back now

Yeah, this year was incredible. The rooms reaction when Infiltration picked Hakan was insane.

And Marvel was hype as all hell.

Even got some entertainment out of Injustice, with the whole crowd booing Superman xfd

Dang it was fun to watch Evo 2013. Great matches all around. Good commentary. Was fun hanging out in shmups #IRC talking about the matches hehe.

I just wished there was more of a Wasshoi+Tougeki thing going on, where shmups would be featured alongside fighting games.

In my wildest dreams, Daigo would switch to shmups. Instead of doing four blocked Fierce Uppercuts to Tokido to express himself during a game. Express yourself in shmups Daigo. (cue NWA song).

I lost it during the KoF finals. America winning KoF. Surreal.

I would've gone this year if not for BlazBlue's absence(and it even had a small presence as a side tourney). Definitely next year if Chrono Phantasma makes it.

Speaking of Blazblue, I got a shot of these two just outside the main hall:

Basically, Shadow Labrys did an Instant Kill, only possible in the final round(to win) with full meter.

Considered a huge risk, since it costs all the meter, and it's near impossible to land.

Dat commentary. It's as terrible as commentary in Let's Plays where instead of taking the time to actually make a decent script and think what you're going to say, they just babble constantly without providing much in the way of real information. Yes, we get it, you love the sound of your own voice.

The commentary would probably be better if it were done by one actually good person in the style that professional radio commentators do sports games.

I like how after the match was over there was barely so much as a handshake. Guess fighting game players don't really get into the whole 'friendly competition' thing? :/

Depends. Sometimes there is(more often than not really), but bitter players gon' be bitter, and those two have some grudges going.

While we're begging, I couldn't watch on Sunday and would love to see a recap of the SF4 finals. Links?
