yeah, pretty depressing news to wake up to - met him many times and you couldn't hope to meet a funnier or nicer guy. A huge loss. RIP

Holy crap. I'll admit I didn't follow Giant Bomb much, but I'll always remember him as one of the keystones of the golden age of Gamespot, before its long fall. And I had no idea he was the same age as me.

This has hit me pretty hard.

I've been listening and watching the giantbomb crew for many years now.

One of my favorite bombcast moments.

This is really sad. I was literally half way through the latest episode of bombcast when I saw this news. I don't feel right finishing it now... He seemed like such a nice guy.

This week's Bombcast is just a great, fantastic celebration of Ryan's life and friendships with these guys. It's a must-listen, even if the last 5 minutes are brutal. I was misty-eyed driving home listening to it, for sure. RIP, my friend. Thanks for the laughs over the years.
