PS1 Strike Force Hydra....
This was a Euro-only release; how does it compare to the GBA port?

Back on the old forums somebody had bought a copy for the PS1 and posted his impressions. "Crappiest of the crap in the land of crap" was pretty much what he said.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Thanks for that. Certainly not on my 'must-buy' list then.Ghegs wrote:Back on the old forums somebody had bought a copy for the PS1 and posted his impressions. "Crappiest of the crap in the land of crap" was pretty much what he said.
Out of interest though, are there any PSone shmups that were only released in Europe or USA that are any good?

Quick rundown of the GBA version: Big-ass ship, loose controls, long lifebar, 9 STARTING LIVES, and incredible ease. I 1cc'd it on the first go, while talking with my lady on the phone.
Each level is broken down into 3 parts. The first has you hunting down the Sub-boss and killing him. Then comes a speed level where you must avoid obstacles in the water. Then comes the boss level after hunting him down. Sounds kinda fun, but isn't.
