Definitely. Did you order regular airmail or express? Reg airmail tracking is very limited and often shows very little info until a package arrives in domestic territory.
I went for regular air mail this time, for the simple reason that every time I used EMS in the past couple of years I got hit by customs and had to wait for them to process it, which ended up taking just as long as air mail, only more expensive.
That became my thinking many moons ago when I told myself I'd never get stuck with insane custom charges again. I don't use EMS unless I'm buying from someone I have an understanding with. Incidentally, using Airmail with Play Asia takes a supremely long time for some reason.
But yeah, if you picked regular don't rely too much on tracking. You will have something show up at some point, but it's far from comprehensive.
Here is a video of the Full Auto Maneuver Option in Expert Mode for those of you curious to see what it does. No, Hibachi or Inbachi since I don't even know the requirements. The game froze up for a second at 25:15 during the last stage when one of those bullet cancelling enemies was destroyed.
I also add some other random options to help with the run. The only thing I'm doing manually is using either laser, hyper, or bomb wherever I see fit. I occasionally move the ship to collect items.
Keres wrote:Finally...am I doing something wrong, or is this game just really inconvenient to play on a 3:4 tate display? With Wide Mode off, the menus blow out way past the edges of the screen, and with Wide Mode on, the whole game is letterboxed 16:9 so I can't expand the game view to fill the whole screen. I have to keep switching Wide Mode on to use the menus and then back off to play the game.
This is driving me crazy. With Wide Mode on it plays fine (still cut off a little on the edges), but when my run is over and it returns to the main menu, I only see half of the damn menu because it's too zoomed in. In order to find the Options sub-menu to switch Wide off, I have to blindly scroll through until I get the right menu. On the default settings, the screen is so damn tiny it's like playing on the back of a matchbook.
Looks like that's what it says, yeah. That's a relief; I was sort of wondering whether they'd already burned the boats and wouldn't have the staff available to do a patch.
So far this is the weakest in the series. Had to turn off the Anime Girl voices as it was drilling my brain. This game just does not flow like the others. Feels rushed and cheap. If this is how Cave goes out they are sad. They would of been better off releasing Ibara Kuro / Esprade or something like that.
Glad I did not drop the money on the PCB.
Will try again later but am not enthusiastic about my opinion changing.

Just got my standard edition copy! I've only had time to play one run through as I have to leave for work in a few minutes, but all I can say is, wow!
I'm still relatively new to shmups and I didn't have a problem with the first two stages, I no missed them without much of a problem. The difficulty seemed to ramp up at stage 3, definitely by stage 4. I'm really looking forward to figuring everything out.
All in all, for the half an hour I was able to get in. I'm in love with it.
I now completely, fully and utterly understand why someone mentioned here this is one of the most memo reliant clears by Cave. The programmers would have sneered a little while I did my first arcade run: I fell to all of their traps
Anyway, this is hard... It's almost like returning ti the first time I played DOJ. Great game.
I was the one who said that. I also predicted the plankoning, which is worldwide trouserplanking or easy mode permigration. That won't come for a few days at least though.
The first batch of the three versions of DoDonPachi: SaiDaiouJou Kan arrived this morning but our supplier gave us the wrong dimensions for the Super Limited Edition of the game, which is heavier and larger than expected.
We had already printed all the shipping labels for orders shipping this afternoon but they'll have to be revised which isn't a major problem but the shipping boxes that we purchased to ship the Super Limited Edition won't fit the game since it's about an inch longer than our supplier's quoted dimensions. Due to this issue, we'll try to ship as many Super Limited Editions as we can with boxes that we already have in the warehouse today but we think the majority of orders won't ship until Monday since we don't have enough boxes to ship everything out this afternoon. In the meantime, we have ordered replacement shipping cartons for the Super Limited Edition which should arrive on Monday.
If you see a tracking number in your customer account for the Super Limited Edition, please be advised that it will have to be changed due to the shipping label revisions for weight and dimension that we'll be doing this afternoon. Thanks for your attention.

Back in late March on the NCSX site, the first price was set at $112.00+ for a 360 SDOJ LE set. I see that it's jumped a bit, price-wise. So does that mean for those whom pre-ordered at that lower price, will it sold at that particular price point or will they be charged the asking $130.00+ currently? Hmmm.
And of course, NCSX hasn't mention if the 1st batch of SDOJ SLE & LE pre-orders will be honored at the lower listed pricing back in late March.
I emailed back and forth a few times and they said they'd switch my standard preorder over to the LE if they became available...haven't heard back from them since it relisted, really hoping they didn't forget me.
Edit: just heard back and apparently I'm good! Should be shipping Monday.

Good to hear that NCSX goes the extra mile to satisfy a customer, Deca. Whatever it takes to retain a customer in this day of age. As the ol' saying goes: The customer is king or queen. Do whatever it takes to win the customer over so that they keep coming back (even if it means having to go that "extra mile", so be it). Sure, I've done business with NCSX over the years and they do have an excellent reputation (even if their prices may be a bit higher) for service and delivery.
