Is anyone else playing this? If you have PS Vita (or PS3) and enjoy 2D platforming and brawling, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
It's excellent, one of the best 2D games in recent times.

Thanks to the PS Plus discount I ended up buying it day one (something I rarely do for digital releases), and have enjoyed it; there's still some stuff I haven't figured out yet though (no spoilers please!). Nice presentation, controls feel good, things keep moving at a decent pace - some might find the ludicrous amount of references to other games and internet memes a bit much, though.

I'm not much of a speed runner (I prefer to explore stuff slowly), but I thought I saw the forum's own Warp Rattler at the top of one of the leaderboards for this game a little ways back.

Updated the title Fez style, since apparently this is what's necessary for a niche game to get attention. And unlike Fez, Guacamelee! actually deserves it.

Floaty is definitely not a term I'd use for the controls, this developer seems to really value smooth responsive controls
