Nice that they send it free shipped anyway but SePh1r0tH, didn't you offer and probably paid $ 150,- recently for the sound tracks ?
Now wanted ,................. super rare " Prime CD " for my now incomplete CAVE collection .
I ended up not paying that much but you are correct...went from having 0 sound tracks to 2 now...oh wellCasey120 wrote:Eurotaku remorse![]()

I don't have the collection, but I recall somebody saying earlier that the DLC from the collection's disc works with each game's "original-release" copy, so something tells me that patches should work the same way.Fudoh wrote:Does it still auto-download a patch if Futari is run from the disc from the boxset ?
I think he wants to know if the patches are on-discBulletMagnet wrote:I don't have the collection, but I recall somebody saying earlier that the DLC from the collection's disc works with each game's "original-release" copy, so something tells me that patches should work the same way.Fudoh wrote:Does it still auto-download a patch if Futari is run from the disc from the boxset ?
I wonder if the 360 can actually load patches from a disc? Or if it's download only due to XBox Live flagging the update when you start the game.mdsfx wrote:I think he wants to know if the patches are on-discBulletMagnet wrote:I don't have the collection, but I recall somebody saying earlier that the DLC from the collection's disc works with each game's "original-release" copy, so something tells me that patches should work the same way.Fudoh wrote:Does it still auto-download a patch if Futari is run from the disc from the boxset ?

EDit After a quick google check there's a site with some CAVE patches, Guwange, DS1 US, DFK so it would appear that there is some way of getting them onto 360 without Live. (no DOJ 360 though, I would hope that patch is floating around the net for prosperity sake)
This hasn't happened with any Cave releases though IIRC.Fudoh wrote:I'm pretty sure there have been re-releases of games which included patches originally available for the first print versions. Still wondering though...

has been done already, hasn't it ? If you create a 360-compatible USB stick with your profile on it, you can install the DLCs on somebody else's japanese 360 (region lock!), copy the DLCs to your usb stick and copy them to your own HDD at home. So, could this be done with the DLC disc?
(Have the DLC disc on file and then update the game from usb.)
Yeah, unless they also migrated the account.bcass wrote:Won't that only work if you're online on your own 360 though?

that's smart... maybe I should start doing that as well.Fudoh wrote:no, don't worry. We've been doing this for YEARS. A friend of mine has a 360 in his "gaming-cave" and there's no LAN or WLAN available, so I've been getting him his patches this way for years now. I'm collecting my relevant TUs as well and have applied them this way as well, despite being online. I just want to have them available and know I'm safe even when the TUs disappear from MS's servers.
