Golden City Factory, my #1 favorite doujin music artist, even above those guys that are posted on ChaosAngel209's channel. These guys should be ZUN's official arranger since he's clearly not capable of that anymore.

Disagree. Have you ever heard the arranged albums produced by Sound Sepher and Factory Noise/Gyro Mix?
TimeLimit ~Momentary~ and Touhou Gensou Shiten 3 - ''Deary'' are fucking gorgeous, they should be the official arrangers.

Knytt Underground music has been playing for ages around here(was a beta tester even though no music of mine made the game) and it really gets stuck in your head!

Too bad SNK never revealed the arrangers of that soundtrack.

why? Every single arranged album done by the Shinsekai Gakkyoku Zatsugidan (and SuperSweep) is awesome and fits the game perfectly.

The absolute best from these tracks are numbers 2, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 21, 23, 26, 29, 33, and 34. Out of these, my all time favorites are 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 21, 23, 26, and 29 because they just have those certain melancholy undertones that I love in music. 8, 13, 21, and 29 send good chills down my back while giving me the feel like I am staring at a the desolate ruins of a city in a warzone at night during a lunar eclipse, while I watch the endless formations of jet bombers silhouetted against the blood red moon, as I feel the frigid rain hit my face and run down my back.

David Bergeaud rules! I really love his compositions for R&C series, especially the first game and Going Commando. His omisson from later PS3 games have dramatically dropped my interest in them. Anyway, here's some of my recent favorites, from Ryu Ga Gotoku 4 and 5 (which is i desperately waiting for english localization).

Ryu ga Gotoku 4 OST [Vol. 1] - 30 - Material Delights
Ryu ga Gotoku 5 - OST [Vol. 1] - 11 - The place where I used to be
Ryu ga Gotoku 5 - OST [Vol. 1] - 02 - The Battle for the Dream
Ryu ga Gotoku 5 - OST [Vol. 1] - 28 - The Hermit of the Frozen North

I haven't really paid too much attention the earlier Ratchet and Clank games' soundtracks, but for some reason, Deadlocked's music always got stuck in my head. I love how most of the tracks have that darker feel to them.

It's a shame Yamaoka got so roped into schmaltzy vocal tracks after Silent Hill 2. Its instrumentals are incomparably more expressive and human than SH3 and SH4's AOR caterwauling.

Zutto Issho [PSX]

Primarily composed by Hikoshi Hashimoto (Run Saber, Oekaki Logic [SNES], and other games nobody has heard of).

Pretty good stuff.

I posted this in the Shmup music thread also, but I figured I would post it here too. I came across this very interesting video. This may not be an actual game, but it has striking similarities to Raiden. The best song on here is "Moon Over the Remains." It starts at 10:31 and ends at 14:15. The songs that follow are also pretty good. Also, I believe song #13 is referring to Raiden DX New Release Stage 2 (at least I think that's the kanji for Raiden). Song #14 could be referring to Raiden II Stage 1, and the last song refers to Raiden II also, but I don't know what the kanji after that says.

Holy shit, the MD port of Dangerous Seed has a killer soundtrack. Fans of X-Multiply's driving creep-metal style would do well to check it out. Each track is a miniature FM rock epic.

Recently I've been doing another playthrough of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and I'm reminded just how much great music this game has in it. Here's a few of the good ones:
