Can SCART be converted to VGA on modern HDTVs?
Can SCART be converted to VGA on modern HDTVs?
Finding a cable that takes SCART and adapts it to a DB-15 VGA port is finding a needle in a haystack. But if I could, will a modern TV or LCD monitor accept the SCART RGB signal from a game console? Or is the 15 kHz signal incompatible?

there are displays out there which can actually accept a 15khz RGB signal through the VGA port, but you're more likely to have a straight flush at your first game of poker than owning one of those - without picking it for this particular reason.will a modern TV or LCD monitor accept the SCART RGB signal from a game console? Finding an adapter isn't hard, just get a SyncStrike from Arcadeforge.de.
Finding a monitor will be harder. Some Samsung Syncmaster monitors work (like the 940Be). But unless you already have a compatible monitor, scalers might be the better option.
