Thanks for that. I've updated all the file sizes apart from Under Defeat.

Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
is DLC content region locked? or just the games themselves? I'm wanting to download Black Label for my region free copy of Mushihimesama Futari.
Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
Non of the Cave DLC is locked for the region free titles.

Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
It's not region locked per se, but you will have to use a Japanese gamertag to download the DLC for MMP+PS. There are no other region free CAVE releases with DLC.
Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
More specifically you have to use a JP account to download all Cave DLC aside from Mushi Futari Black Label.StarCreator wrote:It's not region locked per se, but you will have to use a Japanese gamertag to download the DLC for MMP+PS. There are no other region free CAVE releases with DLC.

Was looking around for a japanese 360...man they sure as hell are expensive. I'm looking at 350~ euros if I get a secondhand one from Japan + copy of LE mushi futari + shipping.

Ah ok. I just read the, "There are no other region free Cave games with DLC" part, I didn't notice we were discussing the DLC's region availability. My bad!

Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
My Jap X360 hard drive keeps wiping itself out. My scores disappear on Pork 1.01 randomly. (Thank God I'm taking photos).
Is this a common thing?
Can I do anything about it??
Cheers,

Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
If you think it's a hardware problem you could simply get a new hard drive. Peripherals, to my knowledge, are not region locked.
Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
^Ok true, but this hard drive is fairly new. Has no-one else experienced this hard drive wiping itself out problem before?
Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
I think disappearing scores on 360 MMP & PS is just a bug mate, I remember my scores always used to disappear as well.
Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
Yeah, I heard that the port is a mess and does shit like that. Unfortunate

Ah! Thanks Mero and trap15. If its only my Pork port buggin' out, then I won't worry about it. I'll just keep on taking digital pics of my scores.
As luck would have it, we had a power spike here and my TV is now on the blink also .

Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
Yo guys. Well, I finally decided to drop the dime and buy an NTSC-J Xbox 360, well, an Asian model, but they're the same thing pretty much. To those of you who have one, will it work right out of the box, in terms of the power cable? Meaning, in order to play it here in the USA, do I have to go buy a 120v power adapter for the system? or will using a 220/120 plug adapter work just fine? If so, I'll have to stop by the nearest Gamestop and pick up the 120v power adapter. Thanks.

Thanks hail. Anyone else? Just trying to find some consensus here, since there are many conflicting posts across the web on this.
Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
You're fine playing it in the USA (NTSC-U). Had mine on a power strip and no explosions/surges. When you are in the PAL region, you need to convert the power.

Re: Guide to owning a Japanese 360
Just check the input voltage range on the power supply when you get it. From experience, using a Japanese X360 with the JP (100-127V) power supply works perfectly fine in the US. My Asian power supply I'm using for the same 360 here in China reads 200-240V and wouldn't be suitable for use in US/JP. I don't know if the X360S systems have switched to a universal power supply yet but I'd check before plugging anything in.

Voltage isn't lethal, amperage is. Higher voltage just makes it hurt more
