Which brings me to my meta-rule: All else flies out the window where X-Multiply is involved
I'd never heard of X-Multiply, so I Youtubed it. I can see why you say that. Is it a valuable game? I searched on ebay and couldn't find any.
I guess everyone has one particular game that is a rule-breaker...

A while back I actally took all of the high to mid priority games on my want list and made a spreadsheet detailing how much it would cost me buy them all using the average lower end prices on ebay based on completed listings history.
At last count the list has about $3-4000 worth of games and a single system on it. I figure by mid next year I will prolly have them all.
Every time I buy one of those titles I write down the price I paid next to my estimate and let the spread tally how much less or more I paid. I tend to only buy when I find a listing going for less than my estimate, so as of now I've "saved" a few hundred compared to my estimates.
I wouldn't be in such a hurry to cross off all those titles but late next year my economic situation is going to change in such a way as to make collecting impossible for the next 3-4 years. Trouble is according to human nature you desire what you do not have the most. I hope I wont "discover" a whole lot of really cool games after I've got all those titles crossed off.
Bah, who am I kidding, of course I am, but when you do not have the funds, you do not have them. Too bad for me, I guess I'll have to settle for the ones I got.
Of course it helps that I only have my self to support, I have little in the way of any regular expenses and gaming is the only interest of mine that costs me money.

The only home port is in the compilation Arcade Gears: Image Fight and X-Multiply
Here's one listing. There is also a Playstation version, which is what I have. And someone on another forum is holding the arcade PCB until I can afford it (they want $300 plus shipping from Japan).
