I sort of "inherited" an early-gen, High-Def Graphics Sega Genesis unit. These are known for having a higher-quality sound setup than the further revisions of the system.
I could easily mod it for at least region, but this involves making some cuts to the cart slot to allow for Japanese games, and drill a hole for the region switch on the side or back. So I want to ask the opinion of my fellow gamers: Leave it as it is, or mod it? I may end up selling it as I need to clear a lot of clutter from my home, and would like to know what would be more attractive to a potential buyer if I end up selling it.
Thanks to all.
Opinion wanted: HDG Genesis. Mod or not?

I'm used to seeing those at every other thrift store I enter, so I've lost all sense of "preservation." MOD IT
