Bah, PBF had class.

I like this guy's stuff, but all he's doing differently from e.g. your average FurAffinity-er is trying to get somebody else to shoulder his shame.

Shame so deep.

So I've been playing the copy of Fighting is Magic that got leaked online a few days ago, and I must say, for what the devs consider barely an alpha build, the game is really solid. Even the online works far better than I imagined it would (as long as you can get someone around 100 ping or less, matches are smooth as butter). Playing Rarity as main, love the combos and juggles I can get people into

I've decided to respect the team's issue and resisted downloading the alpha. Though I hope the interest people have had in the alpha shows them that they need to be a lot more loose with their development. I like that the Pony Kart guys have an SVN up.

I resisted initially, but the lure was too great, especially with as big a fighting game fan as I am. Plus the team is pretty cool about it now (even have a couple of the devs hanging out and playing in the online lobbies).

If it's going to be freeware anyway, does it really make two shits of a difference?

I know we talked about this a few months back, but who is seriously considering going to Canterlot Gardens? The guest line up is looking fantastic. Also Fighting is Magic!

I really wanted to, but there's just no way I'm gonna be able to make it work. Gotta make a trip next weekend that'll eat up my remaining vacation time for the year, plus the costs and such.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

^^^ Too bad. I'm at Midwestria brony con at the moment, and the burger joint across the street is making a killing from all the business it's getting.

(Though if that was in response to the video they showed sometime on youtube, I don't blame them)

Just got laid off. Maybe I can now justify going to Canterlot Gardens.

Would have totally loved to have a known (online anyway) acquantaince go with me, and meet a fellow shmupper in person. But it wasn't bad for my first convention ever.

r/MyLittlePony and r/TheLastAirBender have a friendly competition to determine who has the best members.

Bronies donate over 124 years of computing time to research.
Bronies donate over $25,000 to Doctors Without Borders.

Reddit's admins let's r/MyLittlePony design the main page banner for one day as a reward for winning the competition and doing good charity work.

Hilarious drama ensues.

It still astounds me how angry people STILL get when something MLP-related pops up somewhere. Like, holy shit. You would think they posted a header of a dude choking a puppy or something.

Why the fuck does this have 25 pages of responses? I mean, Christ almighty.
My friend teased me a while back, telling me that he saw an article about how today's males are becoming "Effeminized", and one of the top reasons was Morrissey. You see, I'm a huge fan, so he thought it was really funny.
That being said, I guess he hadn't seen this shit:

Image

I mean, that's a confusing "image'. Gay? Pedophile? Peter Pan Complex? Probably none of those, but it puts off that vibe.

Everything I have ever been criticized for liking, in my life, for being "kiddy" or "girly", now looks like fucking Predator compared to this shit. So for that, thanks Bronies! You're a bunch of punk ass bitches though.

j/k...or am I??!

Morrissey is one of the manliest men around, ever. I am pretty sure that, once we set aside the singing style and the fact that he's vegetarian, he should tick all other boxes on a manhood test. I recall that he admitted, in an interview, that he shaves twice per day because his 5 o'clock shadow is a normal man's 3 days of beard. But I digress.

EDIT: Plus, he's a very good boxeur, dammit!

One image does not make a statistically significant datum. But a while ago, in this very post, I linked a study that shows how bronies are virgin males who had a shitty childhood and disfunctional families, to grow up in, with their main goal in watching ponies to cherish the friendship feelings they missed out, when they grew up.

Given this, the kid in the picture looked like someone who must have seen hell, when growing up. Please, try to understand him how it hurts to only find soul solace in ponies!

Wow.. just.. wow. I know some hardcore, Brownsville Texas, Mexican gangster cholos that love Morrissey. I count myself as a big fan and consider myself lucky that I've had the opportunity to see him live 3 times. Some of the manliest, work-on-cars/construction site dudes I know listen to Morrissey, and if you ain't a fan of him and The Smiths, I ain't got shit to say to you.. haha.. 8)

Oh, yeah, Moz is big with us Latinos over here. Over half the people at the concerts here in SoCal are Latinos, the rest are some strange mix of 50s retro and 80s nostalgia peeps. We saw him at the Hollywood Palladium a few years back and he's still in top form. I had that hair in my late teens 8)

Morrissey was supporting Bowie when I saw him back in 1995 but cancelled at the last minute. Still got to see Bowie though.

Well, didn't get to attend Canterlot Gardens, but I did catch a few of the panels, and of course the Fighting is Magic stream this weekend. The game is really shaping up nicely, and seemed much more polished than the leaked build, even with the incomplete RD in play. Really surprised someone managed to pick her up that day and take her all the way to grand finals. She looks extremely fun to play.
