Having an issue with XM6 (X68000 emulator)
Having an issue with XM6 (X68000 emulator)
I've been trying to get XM6 Type G to use the correct JoyKey mode where Z and X are fire buttons and the directional keys are used to move, but even when I check "JoyKey" in the options it does not work and defaults to numpad and spacebar/whatever other button is used for firing. I'm stumped as to what is causing the problem, because WinX68k High Speed works in JoyKey mode perfectly and I don't know what's causing XM6 to keep defaulting to the regular controls. Does anyone know the problem?

You need to set the Device A to JoyKey in Options -> Joystick

Still doesn't work. I tried pressing Z and X and the button assignments turn red, but nothing happens when I press the buttons in game.
EDIT: Got it. Joystick type was set to none. Needed to set it as an Atari stick.
