PSP: Loco Roco

Post by dynagod »

sorry no,its not a shmup..but nor is a puzzle game, or a platformer, but yet it seems to have certain elements of all of these making something completely new. I think game would likely appeal to the kind of gamers we have here,i know it looks interesting to me.

it looks incredibly simplistic on the surface, but watch the whole video, things get pretty interesting as it progresses.. this looks like an addictive game if ever i saw one..

Interesting. Does it have a motion sensor or do you tilt it with the D pad?

you use the two shoulder buttons to tilt the playfield up to 45 degrees, the player itself has no movement controls. your merely using gravity to "roll" the blob. hitting both shoulder buttons causes you to jump and i believe X is to split. i will definetly import this when it hits shelves.

ooops, and i gave you the wrong video! this is the gameplay video i thought i posted earlier

Whoa, that's actually pretty cool. It's kinda like Katamari meets Yoshi's Island. I'm thinking if I ever get a PSP it'll be one of the games I'll get for sure.

Take away the tilting screen controls and it looks alot like the indie game Gish. Looks fun.
