I just recently tried picking up IIDX again after not playing for a year. I look at some of the songs I used to be able to clear and have no idea how I used to do itDeca wrote:I was like that for 5 years or so, now it's been about a year since I played 2dx last. If it makes you feel any better some of my biggest achievements came after long periods of not playing. Once you get about halfway through the 12s constant practice can get really demoralizing.TJB wrote:I have issues dedicating myself due to this obligation to play IIDX a lot in fear of getting worse, vicious cycle.
At any rate I focus primarily on shooters anymore and I find it a bit healthier for me emotionally :I

(That being said I could only ever beat about 3/4 of 9s on the versions I played so I was still rookie anyway)
What made me give up IIDX was realising that I'd been learning it "wrong". I only play with 3 fingers per hand and could never get used to using my thumbs/pinkies.
