Mushi Futari PCB settings

Post by matrigs »

just out of sheer curiousity:

i remember playing mushihimesama futari at an arcade in osaka (sega arcade very near to the osaka wheel).
i can't remember if it was black label, 1.0 or 1.5. but what i can remember is that it had in fact - autobomb.

was this a setting of the pcb ? or have i played some totally weird version of the game ? what other options
can be changed ?

i understand stuff like difficulty, live stock, extends etc. but autobomb seems a bit far for a setting.

Moved to Hardware and changed title to be a bit less ambiguous.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

My first guess would be it's something added to the international version of the Black Label since we know there are some enemies with lower hit points on that version and this is a further move in that easier direction, but if it was located within Japan, why would they use the international version... But they still could be. My second guess is it's an option added to a late revision of the software. All just guesses though. Or maybe the easy setting turns it on in one of the versions, I've never tried them on easy. Hopefully someone will eventually have a definitive answer, it is definitely interesting.
