Transcending the cycle of death and rebirth, passing through the obstacles of the world untouched... shooters seem more Buddhist to me. Which begs the question, which game genre is the most Christian?

Yeah, killing stuff is very Buddhist alright. 
On the other hand, shooters' gameplay process itself can be very meditative as a whole, which does make it somewhat close to certain aspects of Buddhism.
A Christian genre... DND-based RPGs? I don't remember any other genre where keeping your player character lawful and underpowered provides any gameplay benefit, let alone allows to complete a game.
