My Arrange score is still listed as being Ageha instead of Tateha like it should be. I don't even think it's possible to play Arrange 99*99 with the characters other than Tateha at the moment, but then I haven't checked the leaderboards for a very long time to see if there were any replays of that level with them.

This one that's under the Ageha list.

01: Phoenixma 2,633,529,511 ALL (99*99)

Which should be on the Tateha list as

04: Enigma 2,633,529,511 ALL (99*99)

Yeah, I want a change in the name listed under it too. Actually change the name to that on all my scores. I had one under Seseri Black Label and Omake too.

360 Mode
GUS - 712,629,062 - ALL - Ageha

Ok, this was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. Stage scoring wasn't quite as good as my previous submission but finishing with 3 lives was enough to push to my goal.

Gus, every time you post a score I want to play this game again. One day I will.

Great job. Have you played around with the other characters at all?

A little. Tateha is just too weak and slow for me after spending so much time with Ageha but Asagi seems interesting and I might try her out sometime if I can get my hands on a good replay. Very annoying that there's an 800m score with her on the Arcade leaderboards with no replay.

It'd also be interesting to see what you could do with Black Label's crazy scoring system.

Arcade (PCB)
marus-MPO - 412,652,233 - Stage 6 - Ageha

Blaaaaaaaaaaaah

This run started out alright, with no major mistakes outside an early stage 3 boss death due to an execution error. Stage 4 goes alright, but I get trapped in the boss' last pattern and lose another life. I die once trying to score on the second half of stage 5 which is nothing unusual I guess (I should really iron that part out though). I manage to build up enough gold and gems to still score on the boss. Then stage 6 turns into a mess - I lose two lives to the first midboss (1st by running into the boss' hitbox which I don't even want to talk about). I still manage to fully milk the boss' arms though. I play the rest of the stage safe but I pretty much lost motivation when I got to the last boss with one life and die a peaceful death on its opening pattern. :|

i could have done more, screwed one life at Kujaku, but this is good training for arcade mode honestly

It's not quite the score I was hoping for, but I'm happy to finally have a decent 1CC! Aside from getting the clear, overall the run wasn't all that great. I messed up the second half of stage 1 (no 2nd extend boo), and stage 2 wasn't all that great either since I didn't come into the boss with enough gems to score on all three patterns. Stage 3 went okay, but then I performed one of the worst stage 4 I have ever done - I got tagged while zesshikaing the big airship over the river (just before the midboss), triggering an autobomb and costing me a lot of points. Then after the midboss I stupidly ran into a single bullet, so I had to do the rest of the stage with a large gem and gold deficit, which cost me even more points. To make up for it, stage 5 went pretty well at least - I was able to properly chain the stage, including the part after the reverse scrolling section which is always a trouble spot for me. I came into the boss with enough gems and gold to score on all three parts as well, which was good. Unfortunately things took a 360 in stage 6 - I messed up the first midboss (I destroyed the right arm too early so no milking fun), then I died on the second midboss meaning I had to focus on restoring gold and couldn't zesshikai it. Thankfully the Alice clone section went well, and I made it into the final boss with 3 lives. I was pretty tense the whole time, but overall the fight went okay. I knew I had it in the bag when I made it to the last pattern with still 3 lives in stock :)

Anyways, tomorrow is the last day this game will be in my arcade, so that'll be my last chance for glory. At the very least I'd like to break 500 million before retiring.

It's pretty much just a bastardized version of what YOZ does in his 900 million video. I'm a bit tired right now but I can make a writeup tomorrow morning if you're really interested. Also it would help me focus my writing if you have any specific questions.

Also thanks, much appreciated!

I actually do have the port, which I use at home for stage practice. For some reason though, with this game in particular I just don't have fun doing full runs of this game at home. Maybe the arcade environment just makes it easier to "get in the mood" or something, but playing there is exhilarating and a good way to unwind after work, while whenever I try full runs at home it just makes me frustrated and in a bad mood, and I never seem to perform as well as in the arcade.

Also I'm not going to say that I don't like the game, but its definitely not my favorite. I don't have any particularly inspiring goals in this game, so once it leaves the arcade I don't see myself going out of my way to play it any longer.

Small Improvement:

360 Mode
GUS - 720,048,449 - ALL - Ageha

Still working on this. I only finished with 2 lives this time, mainly because of how badly I botched the 2nd half of stage 6. The plan is to get 750m then start working on 1ccing Futari Ultra (seriously).

Gonna keep going to 800m. I've come this far so there's point in quitting so close to that milestone. I want to see a western (preferably me) 1cc Ultra more than anyone but that's gonna get delayed by a few weeks.

Gus, we have the exact same CRT. I can't believe you can play Futari Ultra on that thing. I have to sit super-close to be able to see a damned thing even on easier games.

Um... and on-topic... great score and I'm sure you'll hit 800M soon!

Ugh. Just had a run where I killed the 2nd stage 6 midboss with 565m then had to throw out the run because of a horrible death right after that. This game...

6/20 edit: And another final boss restart. :| As frustrating as this I really think I've gotten better and anticipate at least coming close to 800m soon.
