I also have Xbox 360/PS2 pads if you prefer.

I went over to Fry's Electronics and bought surge protectors for the setups and a multimeter to measure voltage on cabs/setups just so we have everyone's PCBs safe and sound (measured 5.05v, 3.35v, 12.5v).

Maybe we'll have a tournament of sorts with prizes! Also, if you guys want to do some trading this might be a good place to do testing of games/PCBs.

trap15 might be bringing a Raiden II PCB which is missing a volume pot. I have a Weller soldering iron. If someone could help him out with that, please chime in.
alamone wrote:I can help fix up that Raiden II PCB. I have a digital temp soldering station as well.
Just need to get a replacement pot, or if you don't mind max volume you could just bridge the connection.
Here's a list of the games available, please feel free to make requests. And by all means if you'd like to bring a PCB as well, please do so!

Shmup PCBs requested and from which owners:
Sparky: Out Zone, Espgaluda II, and Ibara.

Also we are thinking of going to play Darius Burst: Another Chronicle after the shmupmeet (maybe leave early around 7 pm?) We can play unlimited lives:

Then we'll see about getting a caravan to Round 1 Game Center in Puente Hills (about 30 minutes away) to play Darius Burst: Another Chronicle. Other shmups there: Shikagami no Shiro III and Raiden IV (as reported by Sparky, thanks!) Here's the info from the Utah location.

Incidentally, I'll be in California around that time. My wife and I are going to do a little road trip down the pacific coast highway, then spend a couple of days in San Diego before flying back home.

Where are you located? Maybe I can arrange attending your meet, if you don't mind having me around.

Hey Herr Schatten!

Would love to have you guys over! I'm located in the city of Orange, CA (the next city over from Disneyland). What days are you going to be around Orange County?

I'm in. Sometime in early June should work for me as well. Don't have too many shooter PCBs but here is my list of games I can bring. (Hopefully non-working games will be functional by then.)

Arcade PCBs (shooters):
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... WdpYjhyMnc

I also have other arcade games that can be brought over along with a Sigma supergun and RGB monitor.

Any time should be fine for me I think. I guess early June is likely the target.

My game list as well:

Feel free to ask me to bring whatever.

Yeah, I was going to try to find a pot somewhere, and if I can't do so, I'll just bring a sorta weak resistor so that it's not full blast.

I can contribute a tate-able LCD/supergun setup as well (now that the XRGB-mini firmware is updated).
Uses saturn pad or HRAP SE for controls.

P.S. if anyone has a laptop with USB3.0 I also have an Intensity Shuttle that could be used for live streaming.

Edit: I have a spare Sanwa harness but it's just bare wire, you'll need to crimp quick-disconnects to it

Frenetic wrote:I think one more TV/supergun or console setup would be great. If we're playing a PCB, I can swap out one of the Xbox 360's and we can play on that (maybe would just need another Xbox 360 stick and TV setup).
I've got a 20" TV (composite only...) that I could probably bring, and a nice supergun with Composite and S-video out (in case someone with an s-video capable TV can bring that instead). I've only got one controller for it (modified Saturn pad) though, so if you want me to bring that, you probably want someone to bring another controller (Neo-Geo plug).

I could also bring my 360 and my Qanba Q4.

This is close to AX but then again I never commit to going there. :P

Also this would be a chance to hit up Round 1 and meet up with Bemani pals at some point.

Well, we'll see. Aru-sam has expressed interest in going to a SoCal meet anyway.

Awesome Dave, would love to see you again at the SoCal meet!

Might I tempt you with some Gradius PCBs?
I have extras of Gradius 2 (Vulcan Venture with EPROMs for Gradius II new version)
and Gradius 4 (new battery with socket for easy replacement!)

I'm totally down for this, I've basically blocked out the whole day for the shmupmeet and I called Round One and they said they still have Darius Burst: Another Chronicle there.

Hmmm, that's a good idea shariar07. I'll make a potluck list and that way we can have some goodies for everyone to share. If you could bring a copy of Akai Katana (I sold mine in anticipation of getting the Rising Star Games issue) that would be cool/and an extra Xbox 360/PS2 arcade stick if you have one.

Hi, I'm new to the forums (but been reading a lot for over a year now) and I'm looking to network with some local SoCal players, so this looks perfect! I also have a JX360 with all available shmups (installed in my Kraylix cabinet, but I can take it out) if you need another console station, along with a Dell 24" that I usually tate with it when the console is out of the cabinet. I also have several sticks on hand, including a custom stick with a Suzo Inductive, should you need some extra hardware.

If that's all good, then put me down for a fruit salad! I'm in Long Beach btw! Never been to Round 1, but DBAC does look amazing!
