The SA thread has endless fucking pictures of "brony gatherings" (or whatever), mostly white people. Bronies have negative connotations attached to their cult, are basically an overall negative influence, act like elitists, shun outsiders, and generally think they're above everyone else.

So it's basically like the KKK.

Elixir, I can understand your dislike/loathing of a fandom as it's the opinion you are rightfully entitled to (though I have to see proof of the assumptions you make, it's not my job to dispute them). However, please keep race and comparisons with that hateful cancer which is the KKK out of it.

Nobody says theyr'e the bottom of the barrel, but I think "disgusting" is a good word for people who write and draw pony porn, and probably fits the certain militant portion of the fanbase who actively dislike non-bronies (how do you get from "love and tolerate" to "different is bad"?)

I personally don't like any kind of cartoon porn, so I see and share to some degree their disapproval. The thing is the broad stroke it paints the whole fandom with; I wouldn't like to have whatever negative connotations (assumed or evident) that are ascribed to the fandom applied to me just because, say, I'm helping write the NPC dialog for one of the upcoming fan-made RPGs based on the show, or because my current avatar was a gift by one of the very talented ladies doing the art for it. But of course, we know that all Russians are drunkards, Scots wear kilts all the time, all Mexicans are illegal aliens, and all Canadians end their sentences with "eh?", right? Humanity for the lose.
