Bronies have negative connotations attached to their cult, are basically an overall negative influence, act like elitists, shun outsiders, and generally think they're above everyone else.

So it's basically like the KKK.
Elixir, I can understand your dislike/loathing of a fandom as it's the opinion you are rightfully entitled to (though I have to see proof of the assumptions you make, it's not my job to dispute them). However, please keep race and comparisons with that hateful cancer which is the KKK out of it.
Elixir wrote:Did you not know that your embarassing manchild circlejerk was shaming your own race?
That was out of line. There are worse things an individual (not an entire race) can and should be ashamed of.

We get it. You don't like the fandom, and that's fine. I don't like the vampire Twilight novels as they kind of poison the minds of young and old women alike when they start thinking about and comparing men with the unrealistic standard they describe. You won't see me calling its fans shallow, gullible or even ephebophiles just because they follow it, especially since I can't prove that argument.

So true lol

And yet, manybottoms.com is available. Seems like a missed opportunity ...

The title of the thread is "We hate bronies so much that we obsess over them", so I don't think you're the only one who noticed

And if you think that anyone on that thread believes that bronies are the absolute lowest common denominator, you need to browse SA a bit more. Nobody says theyr'e the bottom of the barrel, but I think "disgusting" is a good word for people who write and draw pony porn, and probably fits the certain militant portion of the fanbase who actively dislike non-bronies (how do you get from "love and tolerate" to "different is bad"?)

I personally don't like any kind of cartoon porn, so I see and share to some degree their disapproval. The thing is the broad stroke it paints the whole fandom with; I wouldn't like to have whatever negative connotations (assumed or evident) that are ascribed to the fandom applied to me just because, say, I'm helping write the NPC dialog for one of the upcoming fan-made RPGs based on the show, or because my current avatar was a gift by one of the very talented ladies doing the art for it. But of course, we know that all Russians are drunkards, Scots wear kilts all the time, all Mexicans are illegal aliens, and all Canadians end their sentences with "eh?", right? Humanity for the lose.

Browse SA some more? Heck, no. Obi Wan said that the one who follows the fool is even more foolish. Besides, Cracked.com is better and five times funnier.

I like MLP. I am, however, NOT a brony.

Those people make me sick. Kinda like christians and the Westboro Baptist Church.

Bronies are the Westboro Baptist Church of the MLP fanbase.

Pretty difficult to make things up like roleplaying as a pony or masturbating to ponies.

Mods, could this thread be locked please? I think there's been enough hurtful talk comparing an innocent group of people to the KKK and the Westboro Baptist Church. Those accusations should not be made lightly, but they are. This whole thread was just a ticking time bomb from the start anyways.
Look at our friendly members:

You know with all the wild, random accusations, broad generalizations, witch hunting and making death threats, you're sounding more like a member of the KKK than any of the bronies do. Just saying.

I like bashing deep-end bronies as much as the next guy but acting like a raging turd of misplaced aggression isn't going to help anybody.

I never made any death threats. That's just silly.

I've never indirectly threatened anyone (in real life or here, past present or future). Besides, I highly doubt I could hurt a brony by myself. Need help. I'd need what, a quarter pack of Touhous? At least.
