Anyone??? There's simply no manual translations or FAQs on this game out there.dave4shmups wrote:superhitachi4 wrote:On a side note: WHY the hell did the MegaDrive have to be renamed in America? "Genesis" sounds retarded, and reminds me of Phil Collins. *shiver*
Because Sega said it was their new begining, which is what Genesis means in Latin, and it turned out to be so-especially after the Master System had done so poorly over here.
At any rate, I am currently working on Skull Fang, and while I really dig this shmup, I also need some help as to how you rotate your aircraft:

Any advice would be appreciated, as the demo is only in Japanese, and demonstrates movement with a joystick, not a Saturn D-Pad. And the manual is in Japanese as well.

Area 88 (Super Famicon): Why is there no constant auto-fire in this game?
Salamander (PC-Engine): Almost had the No Miss on Expert difficulty for the first loop last night.
Night Raid (PSOne): Felt like trying it out in my PS2... control was marginally better, but it's too easy to lose the ship on screen.

Right now, my arcade cab has Raiden DX in it, and I've been going back and forth between it and Strikers 1945 (those are the two PCBs I have right now, but I'm in the process of trying to come up with a few more.) Actually since I moved to my new place about a month ago I've spent virtually no time on consoles, with only my Genesis even making it out of the box.

After spending a ton of quality time with Mushihime-sama and Zanac Neo, I'm now shifting gears and tackling Giga Wing 2, with some Nexzr, Battle Garegga, and Twin Cobra thrown in for extra spice.
BTW, Shatterhand, your sig is cute, but it actually is possible to be both a Cave fan and a Compile fan.

Currently playing: Raiden and Fantasy Zone(arcade).
Current goals: To play either longer than one hour without being overcome with the urge to rain multiple blows upon my monitor with a blunt heavy object whilst weeping uncontrollably.

"What the hell kind of a two-bit operation are they running out of this treehouse, Cooper? I have seen some slip-shod, backwater burgs, but this place takes the cake."
