Will your shmupping life suffer with the end of summer...
...or perhaps it will improve?
I probably work just as hard or harder in the summer, but somehow I'm still worried that come Tuesday (the start of classes) things will change for the worse. But I get nervous this time of the year every year.

Mine will probably improve as well. In the summer, I can't help but be out and about, enjoying the fresh air without a snowsuit and all... Plus, I like playing games and watching TV/movies around sunset, and as such, I'll simply be inclined to get more gaming in.
I'm actually going outside right now, though I'm inclined to play some SNS2.

It'll probably be about the same for me...basically all that the transition from summer to fall means for me is changing the word "work" to the word "class" in my daily schedule, heh. Actually, my class hours are technically less than my work hours, though I'll also have to factor homework into the equation...my free time will probably end up roughly the same.
I've been investing in other games like Final Fantasy X-2 (don't give me that "omg graphics whore" or "get a girlfriend loser" look) and Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2, and lately I've been only occasionally playing shmups, specificially the ones I have on my PC.
So I don't think so. It doesn't look like I'll be shmupping a lot until I get Mushihime Sama for my 17th birthday this November.

it will definetly improve, oct 1st is the last race of the season and after that i wont have to worry about spending all my cash on the motorbike
more time indoors = more shmupping...

well i've just started my first post uni full time job so my guess is fewer hours but more quality time and with some hard cash i'll be more able to pick up some of the things i've been looking at for a while... like a saturn
so sweet hopefully improvement. less time for me usually means more focus.

I play pretty much when ever I feel the urge to do so...regardless of seasons.
Although, I haven't been playing as much as previously, its due to other interests, etc.
When I get back up on my feet (financially allowing) I'll be back to buy video games on a regular basis...however, I suspect that everyone in the US will be feeling the "pinch", if you know what I mean.

My shmuping will defentaly suffer now that summer is ending. I share my computer with my Mom, who at a moment's notice will do allmost everything to mess me up and grab the computer for hardwood eucure online. The winter means less all day horse rides for her, and more computer. My sister lost my Gradius V a few days ago and that eliminates my shmuping on our big tvs (CURSE HER! NEVER LET OTHERS BORROW YOUR GAMES
). And my dad uses my little tv for football, so that eliminates the nes most of the time (its the only tv that will bring in fox66 in the house). My vic viper is going to sit in the hangar for the majority of this winter.

"There is always an exception to every rule."
So far, starting college took my shmup playing up. Now that I don't have any Bemani (didn't bring any with me), I don't spend so much time with that. Plus, I have 1 hour breaks between a lot of my classes, so I play shmups until I need to go to my next class. I'll have to see if this continues when I get more work.

Actually yeah my shmupping is going to go down this year, I've only a few left that I plan to buy so my cash flow this year will be slightly better.
I need minimum 2.1 at uni so I have to perform aswell, means I'm going to have to turn up from now on, 7:30 every morning..
Planing to buy either ps3 or xbox so rpgs here I come. Shmupping may go up once I build my ikaruga stick.

I go back to uni to start my Degree course in a fortnight's time, so theoretically my shmupping should suffer with study taking precedence. However, like all hobbies, you make as much time as you can allow to enjoy it, and I intend to keep playing to give myself a break between bouts of study and work. As it goes: "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".
Besides, I have unfinished business with all those Raizing shmups (and Ibara) that I love so dearly ^_^

Hot weather makes me lazy and tired (that will end soon hopefully).
School makes me lazy and tired as well (I have 37(+3 free) hours a week, don't know about your schools but I think it's an awful lot).
But having an increasing carelessness for my grades and tests will be probably enough for my skills to remain on the same level.
